Back to basics time...

I played 250 hands 1-tabling NL 2
What a gruesome experience.

I took a couple of losses early -- both screwed-up bluffs, and got sucked out on the middle -- you can tell where the EV line jumps above the showdown line.

This table was full of maniacs playing 100/80 and so on, but they had very few good hands ever, so would fold post-flop a lot.

Here's what it looked like...

Once again I take a beating
But on the plus side side, "I'm getting it in good"

Perhaps
I couldn't answer "what worse would call", so I decided to try to let him bluff
I'm blocking KJ but full houses abound, hence just a call

Ax can bet the flop and check the turn also a hand like JJ you can also get looked up by Tx that caught the river.Maybe checking isn't to bad i just prefer a value bet i just think you probably lose to much value with a check.

Another Down Day

Until about mid-session it seemed that if I raised pre-flop, I got folds, but if I got called, I lost.

After that, I picked up a bit, but once again, mostly non-showdown.

Which accurately describes my PLO8 session today.

One of my best hands, I will admit should have been a fold, and I might -- if pressured -- admit to being a bit tilted.
After several bad beats and coolers, I rejammed thinking "this monkey can have AA every time!"
(hint -- he did, but I sucked out.)

888 Is Broken

Well it works, but I discovered that it saves some hand histories incorrectly.

To fix it, support suggested that I re-install from scratch.
OK Fine.

Part of that they wanted me to clear the cache and cookies from all my browsers.
When I did that, it broke all my saved logins.

Oh yeah -- the problem is still there.

At least now their support knows about it, and I know how to work around it.

Not quite what I had hoped for
The details are here: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=3266248#post3266248

It was a horrible week.
It got to the point where if I raised I would either get immediate folds or flat called.
It seemed that if I got called -- I would lose by the river.

very low volume this week...

Full week summary is here: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=3268011#post3268011

I was away all last weekend, so did not get to play any of the last weekend of the 888 Freeroll Festival.
There was some very good money to be made.
In all I won $54.20 in freerolls that were part of this "freeroll festival" (June through September)
In the same period, I picked up $94.34 in other freerolls.

I probably won't have much volume over the next few weeks, as I'll be very busy with non-poker activities

Congrats for the results! Is it possible that you are the most profitable freeroll player ever? :pcuser:

I hope we will see you on stream after your busy days, and maybe ship some freerolls on air! :f_drink:

I rather doubt that!
On 888 it is rather easy to cash: You need one double up before the bubble to cash. After that be patient.
The Freeroll Festival is gone, though, so there will be far fewer opportunities for big scores
