hey, thanks a lot mate, yes got very fortunate in regards of rakeback (ggcare tournaments gave me some good bumps up, otherwise would be @ 70-90$ right now)

i do intend to fire my first shots at plo5 today, there is no specific br management, but after 6-10 stacks lost i will move back down to plo2. with some rungood not entirely sure when i would move up to plo10, probably after completing the challange and having 50 stacks ready - will have a lot to do with confidence in my play aswell, which isnt too high yet

streaming i try to keep it in english, unless some friends from germany come on and we are on discord at the same time, then some german could appear too^^

Day 13 results

Hands played : 2793
Profit: $--27,23
BR: $236,22

in the morning took a few spots in a too agressive manner and always ran into it went about 10 stacks down, could recover quite a bit in the evening but at the end of my session yesterday was pretty hungry and tired and can't even remember the last 500 hands well, were i went down what feels like two unnessecary stacks again. otherwise i think starting to adept to plo5, people definelty play a little diffrent compared to plo2, which i wouldn't immediately classify as better, just diffrent.
Playing tired / hungry definetly wasn't the first time to cost me some winnings toward the end of a session and its something that shouldn't be to hard to avoid, so i will make it my mantra to take a break when i feel like it... streaming overall i think has a positive effect that i want to play focussed and make good plays within the means of my ability, but when it comes to this i fear its a psycological downside aswell. when i have a few people watching it motivates to keep playing when maybe i shouldn't.... So yeah will work on this, also have a bunch of hands i marked that i will work through.
overall the biggest loss within a day so far if i am not mistaken, which also is to be expected going a limit up.
So motivation is high and after some work will be back at the tables later :)

Have you considered not streaming entire sessions but just an hour or 90 minuttes (defined before starting)?

This way you can stop playing when you dont feel like it, or keep going off stream, if you're able to keep your "mojo" on.

I find it counterconstructive to keep playing for the sake of streaming instead of playing for the sake of crushing

not flaming you - just "thinking out loud"

I agree somewhat. I haven't streamed in a while, but I would start the stream with the intention of streaming 3 hours, but would extend if a tournament ran deep. It is quite hard to keep up with chat, manage the stream and play poker all at once, and I can get surprisingly tired (I'm old). If I did run deep in a tournament, though I would have to add other tables to have something to show between tournament hands.

i made a note above my screen - "stop when you feel tired" to not forget and will see if it keeps working^^
As for playing off stream at the moment is just not my intention, i want the whole bankrollchallange on video with all my mistakes, tilts, luckshots etc and even so sometimes embarrising will keep it this way until i reach the target or go broke
in case the note doesnt work anymore i may revisit this idea of a timelimit, at the moment i do both for fun(streaming & poker) and also combine the two to a quite minimal extend, meaning it influences my play a little which i don't mind too much yet.
i'd make some calls or plays with the intention to show that villain has a certain hand that i've put him on or similar.
its rare and even so minius ev, at the moment i like to do it for the sake of entertainment and also ofc learning about the fields&players i am up against.
Created a quick clip of a hand that shows what i mean from yesterday(skip the first 30secs).
The clip
basically i think i should have given up here when the J hits but instead i make a small bet he will call but not raise to get to showdown and confirm my read instead of letting him make a bigger bet that i wouldnt want to call for the same purpose ^^

On a positive note the hand clearly showcases a problem that i have in PLO, i am kinda still using holdem sizes and my turn bet(probably flop aswell) should have been bigger. its something i have to work on and is a good learning experience at least and will try to figure this out befor i start my next session.

And no worries, wouldn't consider it as flaming, its nice to have people put my approach in perspective and it is indeed much appreachiated!

Soooo true! for me its the same, sitting silent and playing while having the stream on or actively commenting makes a huge diffrence. i'd say its at least twice, if not even 3 times as exhausting. 2h playing & talking a lot equals easily 4h+ of just grinding.

Yesterday was another day where this ggcare and rakeback shenaniganz on gg lets my br grow without me playing particulary well....
don't want to complain ofc, but well, it is what it is. 39$ gg care + 2$ leaderboard....

Day 14 results

Hands played : 1500
Profit: $+45,26

One of the +EV aspects of streaming, is that you are almost forced to evaluate your hands as you play, and by "thinking out loud" as you talk yourself into calling, raising or folding.

Where it gets bad is when you hear yourself say something like, "Well logically this is a fold, but what the hell, I'm just going to shove"

I can't find any good reason not to open pot preflop. In the clip you used 3,1bb sizing. Do you have a reason for it?

its the sizing i used the whole time so far for any open from any position until yesterday. befor my session yesterday i looked up sizings and strategy related and can now just agree, its exactly what i should've done :)
I am basically just learning plo while playing and didn't study anything befor i started this challange, just played what i felt is right and pretty much applied sizings from my holdem days and maybe adjusted a little with my basic understanding of plo and step by step added in a few conecpts. the longer this goes i try to learn more and this was a hand that made me study betsizings in plo befor going in the next round.
In my session yesterday I applied this and feel much more comfortable overall and this kinda sums up my approach, add in more and more what i am learning here and some other resources i can find (my access to content bein bronze is quite limited). Its probably still full of leaks and missplays, but well.... i am not very good at this (yet!)
I do intend to keep learning and hopefully become decent at this game.

So far i can just agree with svenBe's post - professional luckbox lets my br grow ;)

which brings me to the results from yesterday where i definetly felt like i improved at least a bit and hope to continue like so session by session.

Small stakes PLO preflop is easy. Always pot, don't open mediocre hands from early position, don't call preflop opens unless you have a really good hand, and 3bet your premiums.
