#3 1 gap low ds rundown, should be ok open, on the flop against 2 opponents holding quite a disguised strong hand 75% felt ok here - thinking further about it honestly i don't know if pot or check(intention to c/r) would have been the far better option here?, turn i saw a chance of being behind and just wanted to keep the pot small, river???? was kinda close to folding but due to checking turn felt like i had to call here?

*edit - idiot me - c/r wasn't an option ^^

I would just fold pre from MP. In my own games I would bet flop half pot. Potting makes it tough for hands without 6x to continue and we really want to keep flush and straight draws in pot which are drawing potentially dead. If player pool calls those hands often versus bigger then thats fine as well. I dont like checking though that much unless perhaps if CO is very stab happy which is usually not the case.

Both turn check or bet-fold half pot would be fine. But yeah K is perhaps worst turn card. River I would call as well. Its possible villain is value betting 6x trips and all draws has busted.

thanks so much for the input.
i guess preflop its indeed close, 6543ds for sure is an ok open even in ep, so i'd assume from mp/hijack this 1bottomgap would be an ok adjustment to take into the rfi range - but i don't know for sure and have no means to check this(especially rake adjusted for plo5), anyhow should not be blunder in that sense, especially expecting them to make more mistakes than me on later streets - which i have to hope is true .
anyhow this type of hand should also create future ev with stronger holdings imo. him seeing my hand here will make it tough for him in future hands, assuming he has a memory(which i know is hard to give on plo5 rush^^ but it will linger somewhere with at least some of these players and also some are able to write notes).
have understood the risk of overplaying this(a rather fragile boat), 50% for sure has merrit for the reasons you mentioned and even smaller like 1/3 may actually be good not just from the usual gameplan perspective but also to induce his type of hand to raise(on plo5 i think this may happen to rarely with this boardstructure, they are just often too passive).
so that lead to my train of thought that going pot and taking it immediately is pretty much the easiest outcome and if someone calls(or raises), that call almost guranteed is a big mistake on opponents part(unless he has some miracle combo like 657d8d). may not be exactly gto, but on these lowstakes seems to be the most exploitative to me. most opponents will give you an overpair here when going pot and not a stronger holding as they expect you would want to lure someone in with that (if they are thinking this far at all).
Anyhow what ever they are thinking here, with that type of hand the option to force a bigger mistake seems good to me instead of following the usual gameplan, since i don't see these players exploiting this rare occasion in the future.

Betting this turn and folding to action is probably not a bad idea, but i think this is a spot where i may make a mistake and would not be able to let go as i should and then i would be in an even worse spot on the river potentially making n even bigger mistake on top.... this could be a bigger flaw in my game, writing it out makes it real - so thanks for this perspective making it clear that i perhaps have a really big leak here(that can get very expansive easily) and need to work on this most likely. Not 100% as its a quite abstract and rare-ish situation, but just seeing myself hypothetically making a misplay should be good enough indicator to try and look this up some more ^^

*edit sorry the long text ^^

Yeah issue with these hands are that we likely end often in multiway pots and that is the biggest issue. For this reason we need even more nut potential than e.g. solver would go for in its open raise range as it assume way more fe for open raise. Well even this board kind of show it. We flop super good but runouts will almost always weaken our hand and by river we are often at least somewhat reluctant to get massive pot. This issue is sort of multiplied when deep stacked even though this time only one player is deep stacked behind. So when rundown gets as low as this one I would not be that eager to play it. When we have like 8764ds chances to flop nut straight with support is already quite a bit higher.

understandable, still to get it in good lets say on the flop with high equity on our side is just as good as with any other hand having the same high equity. eg 80% is 80% (just random numbers)
have to agree its harder to play compared to some other hands, but its also kind of the argument for playing it
If we flop the "same" boat with 8764 its also not what we were hoping for and the trouble is pretty much the same.
I'd definetly prefer making a nut straight with my hand here instead of the boat and true, there is a few less of those compared to 8764 but there is a chance to connect with an Ace which many villains will hold as a top pair+ and we get more ev from those compared to 8764 making a straight i would guess.
Have to assume this is why solver likes also 6543ds in EP, also on lower stakes / higher rake enviroment.

*edut the multiway argument still stands of course, but again also think 8764ds has almost the same weakness as even lower rundowns, just by not being suited to the nuts.

Just a nit pick but to not overestimate our hand strength on flop. If we are versus decently competent player (might be bad assumption) there are pretty much two possibilities if villain is willing to stack off flop with deep stack. He has 55 (very lucky for us) or he has hand like AJT6 (or in general 6 with three overcards) giving 9 outs so close to 40% equity.

yes agreed - as mentioned just random numbers above.
played around a bit with equilab any diamon fd + 6 = 30% vs our hand
Overcards + 6 = 40%
not to mention the 55combos and fds/straightdraws without 6 that run at like 5-20%.
only exception being the same boat with straightflush outs or overcards that range between 60-67,5% and the amount of combos here is very limited compared to the rest.
villains combo had a smooth 9,39% on the flop.

As i don't know how to run all these combined i can just try to guess that on avg if getting it in here we run @ 60-65%+ against avg. pop of plo5 (but also in higher stakes i don't see this number suddenly being much lower) which is for sure good enough^^ against a super tight player that will only play the absolute nuts and nothing else, can consider to leave it be if getting checkraised, but i don't think this player exists, some maybe close but most likely they will still more often have a combo you mentioned running at 40% which on avg combining it with the few combos that we are actually behind against should leave us with minimum 50%+ equity even against the tightest of the tightest ^^.

I think open is fine from MP. As Ghaleon said, once you go for big sizing you often just isolate yourself vs strong range. Without reads I would use half a pot on the flop and on the turn. We want opp to call with flush and straight draws. Of course if opponent raises we are happy to get it in.

Once you have reads about opp calling range, you can start to adjust.

have to assume against a better pool this is correct and will keep it in mind, on plo5 i would say my line has merrit too as people call fds etc against almost any sizing way too often and more often than one would expect even see a bigger sizing as weak - which is why i think pot would have been potentially even better here as i just want them to make those mistakes. ("he is trying to defend his overpair") and send in their fd or similar as a kind of bluff.
But understand the point of halfpott and will try to incorperate it in my train of thought.
