I did make the HotD again today, and I did it playing PLO8, since trying to make 98 work in hold'em is fraught with danger
I did something unusual for me — I bought in for the absolute minimum, since part of my strategy for winning post-flop is bluffing, and this way, I could avoid losing too much. This worked in two out of the 3 hands I won with 98 in the hole. The third (and 4th) I won at showdown.
