August Monthly Update:
A quiet end to the month after the early excitement of finishing the bankroll challenge. Barry Carter was kind enough to put together a nice article about it here:
Other than that, and basically putting in half my usual hands, there was lots of time away seeing family in various parts of the UK.

I've begun to get to grips with 200NL, so Sept - until the end of the year will be aimed at really getting settled there. I have various rakeback targets to keep me busy and will try to keep up the present momentum.

September Monthly Update:
Terrible month. Nearly 35 buyin downswing, mostly at 100nl, since I dropped down very quickly after things were not going well at 200. Bad beat jackpot and some rakeback meant that at least it wasn't too calamitous in terms of actual dollar losses.
What more to say? We continue on, hoping to rebuild this month and see what lady Luck brings…

October Monthly Update:
A much better month this month as we began our recovery from September.

A short month as we were lucky enough to be able to go on holiday again as a family, this time to Cavtat, just south of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

November Monthly Update:
What a bad month!
NL200 shot went badly:
...resulting in a $4k loss. So moved to a different site and lost another 15 bi at NL100. Rakeback helped a little but still my worst losing month for ~4 years and a real punch in the gut. If I can take any positives, I did at least manage a decent stint at 200NL before crashing out, and techincally I have improved somewhat, but I'm still making too many clearly bad river calls which wipe out any profit I could achieve.
So dispiriting.

Happy to get November behind me. The rebuild begins...again. Happy Xmas, all!
December Monthly Update:
Another objectively bad month where I somehow scraped by with a meagre profit due to rakeback:
NL100 exlusively.
Profit: $1341.45

The number one challenge for January is to improve my procedure for the river. I'm still snap calling off in hope of seeing bluffs at a reasonable frequency and getting shown a pure value hand virtually every time. At the very least a marginal river call for all one's chips should requrire 1. randomising; 2. using all one's timebank; 3 working through what your opponent is meant to have for value and as a bluff; and 4. ensuring that you're high enough in your range that a call is reasonable. I want to put a few solid months in at 100NL before thinking of moving up again.

for me it is totally the opposite - I am folding way too much because "they can't have a bluff".
Seems we have a very different mindset here...
January Monthly Update:
What a terrible start to 2023. My back went on 2nd Jan and I was in very bad pain for about a week and a half. After that I returned to work but still suffering. The last week has been better, managing to put in 5 hour days with (bearable) discomfort. Poker was poor with some runbad, but not enough playgood, either. A small profit due to rakeback. Clearly, this cannot go on for much longer...

There's a lot of that going around — both the Jan run-bad and the physical stuff — for me it was my shoulders, and the worst downswing I've ever experienced.
But it all comes back in the end — right?

February Monthly Update:

A good month, playing a mix of 50NL and 100NL. I don't think there's any benefit to putting an hourly figure for a particular month any more, since what's important is hourly earnings over time. So I think either a cumulative average or some other measure is preferable. Also, a more consistent and higher number of hours is needed. February was decent (my back's a lot better, though still sore at times), but I've instituted a timetable to help ensure I get in 5 playing hours/diem during the week. And that's already the bare minimum that I should be getting!

Very nice results, GG ♠_drink:. Do you have a schedule of when you play? I'm asking because I was curios which hours of the day you play? It seems to me that on micro and low stakes at night/evening there are way more players then during the day. I don't know how the NL50 and NL100 works. 
Wow impressive Bankrollbuilding. 
I hope one day I will be able to play these limits (sucessfull) as well.
