...and yes, this is the first year where I truly don't care one bit about it.

Though I didn't care a lot about the previous two world cups either. Before those, I was interested.

This might be the first ever that Canada qualified.
So I'll be interested in that game, but the whole thing seems like a bit too much

Canada is in? :f_eek: I was not aware of that, I guess that gives me a reason to care at least a tiny bit, though I still don't intend to see any matches.

That was what prevented me from participating in that prediction promo on the forum too - I simply have no idea who is even playing. :f_ugly:

I could have just picked some random countries, but nah... I suppose it's best to just ignore that World Cup as much as possible.

Tuesday is veggie day and again, I had delicious fart- ..urm, pardon me, bean-soup!
As outdoor-season is over I don´t have to go anywhere today. So, I can fart as much as I want. :sifflote:

we went shopping yesterday, and while at the store we bought a chicken pot pie.
It was a ripoff — there was no pot in it at all.

Another atmospheric river hit the coast last night. It's November so they're not uncommon. In the past the people reading the weather on radio and TV used the term "pineapple express" to describe them, since most of ours fit that pattern

I urgently needed some room in the kitchen drawers... which is why this nice big salad bowl, which I was not likely to ever use, was given away to other family members.

Also a set of these nice pasta plates, this one right here being broken and going straight into the trash instead. But the others were still good and might have seen some use eventually, but my regular plates should do just fine.

Getting rid of stuff I've accumulated over the centuries is tough.
Fortunately, the local Salvation Army donation station is only a km or two away.

For "treasured" items, I'll take a photograph and donate the physical item
