This is something you dont wish to see in the beginning of a challenge! I think it was mostly because of forced sessions played, last week was still pretty busy, and I kept forcing myself to play, and made some really bad decisions. I am even running a bit above EV, so cant blame luck either. I am perfectly comfortable with redepositing, but that is not why I started the challenge. Now lets dust off, and keep building up the focus.

This is a good way to get back on track with a little boost!

Since I folded PF, I only saw my bankroll got boosted when I finished the session ![]()
That got me going pretty good. This is the morning gee-raph

The only downward hand was this set over set in a 4bet pot

I am never playing that hand differently.
Had to brag a little, it was very nice after a lot of bad beats I've had these days.

Had a very good beginning of the week, on Friday and Saturday chased the volume a bit to clear the fish buffet bonus, lost more than the bonus got me, but still surviving. Will try and have another close to 20k hands week.
Stats are not available since my yearly maintenance subscription for HM3 has expired, but will try and fix that soon.

At the start of week 3 I hit a solid downswing, not sure what can I say about it, but I am mostly glad that besides a needed redeposit, there were no bigger harms done.
Good thing coming form it is that I stopped drinking at all from November 16th, still undecided whether its going to be a month fasting or a year. My wife has entered 9th month of pregnancy and baby boy is coming sometimes around 20th of December, so a lot of preparations needed to be done, and its easier to do all that with a clear mind and a good night sleep (while I can still sleep at night
).
As for poker, I can say I am very happy with a 60k hands last month. 18 fully active days, and 4 partial, coming to a total of 93 hours spent of playing. That is a bit over 4 hours on a playing day, and that's something I will try to maintain and upgrade in the next four months.

Brace yourself for this:
December start NL10 01.12-08.12.
Hands played: 22601
Starting BR: 150$+200$
Results: -392,03$
BR on Dec 8th: 58,71$
Stats: 24/20/8
Redemption start NL2 08.12.-16.12.
Hands played: 27794
Results: -11,23$
BR on Dec 16th: 91,79$
Stats: 24/20/8
For someone this could be very frustrating, and it was for me as well for a moment, but I got past it pretty quick. Now we are back on the basics and climbing up the ladders again.
BR got boosted from Kyyberis giveaway on stream and some rakeback money as well.
As insane as it might look I am very happy with the fact that I have already played more than 50k hands in December, and will continue to do so. Also payed some tournaments on ClubGG since I am on a 7 day free trial there.
Lets finish the year positive, and start crushing in 2023.

Its like when the puzzle pieces start coming together by themselves.
Got an email message from GG suport on Friday:

Haven't played that format before, but watched a few tables and read the instructions and registered for the next one:
I entered the table with one stack from the 100$ ticket received, and others could enter with as much as 5BIs (500$) and get 5 times the starting stack.

Got my cards, discarded jack and got a flush on the first board. You can see that two guys even got bigger stacks for getting a straight from their 3 cards.
Managed to win partially or fully the next five All in hands and cleared the table with a nice stack for the go stage:

The Go stage faze of the tournament is a regular Holdem mtt and was a Sunday Major with a 1M$ guarantee (overlayed by just 70k)
That night my AK held very solid 3 times, and managed to hold around average stack until we dropped down to 30 players. Blinds were rising and I was card dead and concentrated on money jumps mostly. Was playing with Niklas Astedt on the same table, so that was another big WOW for me. Got short with 5BBs to go and went AI with 77 from UTG, was happy to get called by 55:

but that turn card destroyed my dreams about final tabling a 1M$ tournament.

What a great amount of mixed feelings was happening inside me, a great score for me, but an even greater was so close.
Now to think of a next challenge ♠_cool:

Hi and welcome.
Yes, those are huge swings, but the truth be told if I had a better mindset maybe there wouldn't even be such massive swings. Will try and last throughout February in this manner, and try and get at least 50k hands in, and see where we stand at then.
