Well, it would have looked worse against players drawing two, three or none.
Is open-limping common in 5CD cash? In tournaments, limping plus drawing one often suggests a flush or straight draw, but some people like to play bad two pairs that way too.

It isn't all that common, but it's lovely when you find it.
The ones I really like are the ones that limp/fold.
I've recently pretty much stopped all pre-draw calls. I'll raise, either first-in or over limpers, or I'll 3Bet, but calling would be rare now unless multi-way with a decent flush draw, and direct odds to call.
