Overall impression
I decided to change the weekly update cadence to make it on Sunday morning/day. This week was short for me played 5 days out of 7 and I really liked it. I think it is essential both for work and for poker to have days off for proper recovery and recreation. With my approach and the number of hours I put into play, it is no longer a recreation activity for me, but rather a hobby and side hustle. So proper recreation is required to be built in schedule.
An interview with me was published yesterday and it raised a few conceptual points for me behind-the-scenes:
1. Barry asked me if I would like my photo to be included in the interview. Before this, I wanted to keep my "poker persona" separate from my real-life persona, mostly because I didn't want to be known as a poker player at my work and share in the poker world where I'm working. My main concern was that in professional work life, it is uncommon to share your income, salary, bonuses and any monetary side of things. Managers know their direct report's salaries, but not another way around. Peers rarely know what others are making. In the poker world, it is very much different - statistics sites track winnings, and players share their BRs, profits, and win rates. So these 2 worlds didn't work together quite well in my head. But as I wanted to share my success with my friends, I have decided to put my face in the interview, we'll see how it will go further.
2. I've shared what I consider an edge to the field that brings me good profits - my strategy to compete in the leaderboards. I start questioning myself: what I want to share, and what not? Apparently, I want to bring value to the community and be as transparent as I can to make my blog interesting and interactive. I'm myself got into BLAST tournaments because of the 24-hour challenge, which clearly showed me that this format is very beatable. If that professional player wouldn't do a challenge and kept it in secret, I wouldn't be here. So this is my way to give something back to the community. I still need to define, though, what I'd like to keep from the public eye.
Highlights of the week:
- Was lucky to get two 25x games this week, one on 50 limit, and another on 100 limit, and won both times.

Lowlights of the week:
- I'm concerned with my "celebration" routine. The usual day for me would be - go to work, finish work around 19-00, have dinner, then prep for the session, and play for 3,5 - 4 hours, analyze results. When I'm finishing well (1K+ for the day) I have all those really great feelings and want to celebrate. I go for a beer of two, sometimes 4 :f_drink::f_drink::f_drink::f_drink: I'm concerned about developing a drinking problem, or making it worth if there is already one...
- I haven't achieved my weekly goal of sub 13% GTO wrong plays. So for the next week, the goal is to conduct an analysis of all wrong plays in GTOWizzard that I make, classify them, and aggregate the report. Next week will be light on the volume as my wife coming back with her mother, whom we'll host for the next 3 days.
