They are better if you compare it with KFC or MC Donalds hamburgers I think.
You mean those ready-made convenience food burgers from the supermarket? I can hardly imagine them being any better than fast food burgers from any big chains - not that McDonald's is all that great to begin with. The chicken sandwiches at KFC are usually pretty good, but I prefer their regular fried chicken buckets when I go there, which is usually only 2-3 times a year.
At the end of the day, I think nothing beats home cooking, or ideally a good barbecue. You can get some amazing burgers at a steakhouse too, of course, if their steaks are a little bit past your budget that day.
I almost never visit fast food places anymore, maybe Subway sometimes still. McDonald's and Burger King, however, are just a terrible value by this point, and obviously, they are not great corporations either. KFC is fine for the occasional treat on special days. What I especially hate is that ordering via some weird touchscreen device instead of talking to real people is now mandatory at many of those places, including the local KFC.
Besides, I found some good copycat recipes for many McDonald's and BK items, so I can just make those whenever I feel an itch for any of those burgers.
