I appreciate your feedback, however because of recent incidents we decided to revise the rules and make the staking forum a better/improved place for our community members. It doesn't mean that we will hold everyone's hand while making a decision staking or not staking someone, but at least we take the right direction to provide/educate them about pros-cons of staking anyone in general.

Just because we are improving the rules, doesn't mean we are making it overly complicated but they will change and will be implemented on Monday next week is all I can say.

Staking forum is currently under thazar and Stevegold87 supervision and they are moderating the threads and have my full confidence to build a great staking community.

If everyone had that view the world would be a worse place... I can't actually begin to believe you just wrote that.

It's like you guys wanna put more responsibility on PokerStrategy when you want to stake people...What kind of way is that to viwe the world? Let others take more responsibility because you wanna risk your money?

I don't really use the staking board - but wouldn't it make sense to have the board upgraded to silver+ ? Just seems that a player good enough to deserve a stake would have at least the minimum of a silver status. I just know I wouldn't bother to stake a player unless in the previous month he'd either: played for at least 10 days of the month, or earnt 100sp.

Nooo! Like ingrid says, that'll make spam posts go through the roof.

I agree people from other communities should be allowed to ask for stakes... after all aren't we one big family? I think dublimax has the best of really. They should just have to state why they are applying here instead of their "home" community.

Also don't think there should be a requirement for posts. Maybe something like if they do have under x amount of posts, they have to have a reputable person to say this person is trustworthy, I will vouch for him?

Hi Guys,

First of all, thank you for everyone who contributed with their opinion and care enough for this community to have a healthier ;) staking forum!

We have now launched the new Staking Forum Rules. Please have a look and let us know what you think.

You'll also see an example from pleno1 on HOW to create an ideal staking request.

Big thank you for thazar and Stevegold87 who were working on the rules together with my fellow colleagues HannesZ, pleno1 and MarcPS.

I would like to amend the "one stake per month" clause however.
I believe currently Schris7 is doing a second block within only 2-3 weeks, as he had finished the first.
Hence I would prefer if it read: "Only one per month unless the backer confirms a finished and paid deal closed for the previous request."

Richard

like this, because for example i had like great application and i have had paid back the money to all who bought a piece in my action and i would like to make next application, but still dont like that i cant post new if i will have at least 300 posts. Is there any chances that i can make new applications referring to my previous BAP deal?

I understand,

So I think as a middle ground for member that have had a successful stake other the last 3 month, they can post one request by the end of august without having 300 posts. From then on the rule will apply.

Best regards

Thazar

As far as I remember, your last application was pretty much spot on, keep it along the same lines and you should be alright. if there is something missing or some change needed, we will let you know ;)

Of course that's not true at all.

We will, however, only take action that complies with our own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

That means that we certainly won't share personal information about any member with anybody who isn't a law enforcement agency with the appropriate jurisdiction.

Of course, anybody who scams anybody on our forums isn't welcome in our community, either.

I hope that explains things for you a little more clearly.

Best,

Marc
