I think your play was totally fine. You probable had a read that villain is an awful player. Although I could also consider call such overbet with AK.

On flop he only beats you with AA because I assume that he would bet smaller with 88 or A8 preflop.

Hello sebsejr,

Not much I would change in your play. You could even consider betting a bit smaller on flop while he will have hard time calling with weaker PPs. Also your stack size is pretty small, ~$0,55 would be mine and ship the turn to induce him ship with worse.
