Choosing the right Poker Room for you!

Someone suggested betfair. Their traffic seems horrible but its not peak hour atm and I could probably still easily run 20 30 mans. Nothing bigger then 30 mans and they have 20% rake on there 1's but there 3/5$'s seem alright. They have 3/8 min blinds im used to 5 so in the middle. I could alway play two sites at once. How many tables can you play on this site? and is it laggy software?

edit - I found its 15 tables max thats way to few for push botting 3 minute blind turbos. But its software is apparently good so its a start maybe one of two sites that ill need to get close to my stars hourly any other suggestions?

Sorry for the delayed response to your enquiry! You mentioned that you are looking for MTT-SnGs that you recently played on PokerStars.

You will probably have problems to find similar traffic as on PokerStars on a single partner room, but if you consider playing on different sites you should be able to get enough traffic to keep your hourly.

My first suggestion for this is also Betfair, where you can play 30-man MTT-SNGs. You can expect to find 15+ of those going at the same time across your limits ($3-$10) and the competition is softer than on PokerStars.

If you need more traffic I suggest to add one of our iPoker partner rooms, e.g. William Hill to fill up tables. On iPoker there are MTT-SnGs available for $5+0,50 or $10+1 buy-in, however they fill up significantly slower than on Betfair.

Another option would be PartyPoker where you can also find enough tables to fill up.

1. I play cash games and once in a blue moon a SnG.
2. I play in the micro's currently NL2, just had a shot at NL4 but didn't work out that well different story...
3. Currently I'm playing FR, but I'm thinking of moving to SH. I don't mind staying on FR though.
4. I play an average of 4 hours a day I think. I play 4 tables with an average of 750hands a day.

I wanted to move to Stars, but I have an account there and it isn't tracked so I want to have a tracked account.

Soo are there any other clients then party and stars for me?

Hi Galjo,

I would recommend Betfair on Ongame, since the VIP system is rewarding for small/medium rakers and more importantly, they have a lower fee than say iPoker at the $3 limits. This makes quite a big difference on your overall profit over the course of a month.

They also offer a competitive First Deposit Bonus, which will be a nice load of extra rakeback while you clear it

Sorry to hear you had to move back down mate! Don't let it bother you though, there are hundreds of people on here who move up and down with the same regularity of the sun rising in the east and setting in the west

For you, I would say go for 888. You wont get much rakeback from their VIP system or from their First Deposit Bonus in truth, but for anything beneath NL10, you need to be looking at increasing your win-rate. The best way to do this (as well as studying here ofc) is to play on soft tables. 888 hasboth very soft tables and new/decent software.

I think you will find that they meet your requirements

I currently play nl100 at cake and i-poker, and looking for a third room to add to be able to table select even better. Ideally this room would be as fishy as possible (traffic not such a big issue though) and has a loyalty program that gives as much flat rakeback over a tiered loyalty system as possible. what would you suggest? ♦

Not sure about traffic at those levels, but Unibet offers 30% loyalty bonus, which is basically direct rakeback, as you can trade in your points (10 points / €1 rake generated) at 33 points for € if memory serves.
The tables on lower levels are plenty soft.

Of course 888 poker has quite a poor VIP program, but the tables are amazingly soft, and traffic is quite ok.

2- I am on an objective, i want to start in nl5 and have bankroll enough to grind nl25 or nl50 in one month.
3-short handed
4-I will play around 5hours 5 times per week
5-must be a server where i can use holdem manager hud
6- i multitable 4 to 10 tables, so it can't be a server with low traffic
7-i want rakebake
8-i already made deposits on pokerheaven and pokerstars so it cant be them.
9-servers with average 30 or 40%+ vp$ip table stats would be great

Soft Omaha network at levels PLO25 and PLO50 (6max)? Should also get decent rakeback with about 10k hands per month but softness of games is main priority.

I did smile when I saw your list of desired features. I also would want a hugely spewy 4-10 tables at the same time ♦

For you, given that you want rakeback, need a fair amount of traffic and to use your HUD, I would have to say either Titan or William Hill. You won't get a huge amount of rakeback anywhere, but William Hill and Titan are better than most at rewarding micro and low limit players.

They both have a similar first deposit bonus of 200% up to $2000, which both clear at about 25-30% rakeback for cash game players. The tables are not as soft as say 888, which is where I was thinking of recommending, however their FDB and VIP system will give you very little.

888 might be a good place for you (everywhere is soft for PLO tbh). The First Deposit Bonus and VIP system arent very rewarding, so I wouldnt expect much from them, however the tables are very soft.

Given that it is PLO, I would also suggest you try an iPoker (William Hill or Titan imo) or Ongame skin (Betfair). The software isnt as good as 888 but the traffic is stronger at your limits and the VIP systems and FDB are much better.

So I would say that for soft games, give 888 at a go. For a bit of rakeback, I would suggest you try Titan and clear your FBD etc.

I would suggest that for your traffic requirements you try Betfair on Ongame. You will get a fair return in terms of rakeback, the competition on there is softer than on Stars and you will always have enough SnGs starting for you to maintain your 10-12 table requirement.

Partypoker--> Lot of donks bad promos and bad cashback for micro grinders. And for high volume players its very hard to get palladium elite.

betfair--> The biggest donks of all, nice cashback and good promotions like the 50k raked hand frenzie that its available for all players without looking for the level of rake and etc. But a really bad software and to buy ongbetter i need 60$ or 6bi's of nl10.

Personally I wouldnt go for any of those three for your limit and volume mate. Titan and William Hill will give you the most rakeback through their VIP system (~30-35%) and also give a really nice first deposit bonus of 200% up to $2000 (Titan clears at about 35% rakeback for cash game players).

iPoker also has a lot of good traffic at your limits, though the software isnt amazaing admittedly.

If you are less concerned about rakeback and want to focus on increasing your win-rate, then I would recommend somewhere like 888 or PKR. PKR has relatively high rake, but they do give 30% flat rakeback each month and have super soft tables. I would suggest Low Detail mode if you want to play 6 tables though!

888 wont give you much rakeback, but the software is really nice and the competition is really soft.

Overall though, I think you will get the most value from either Titan or William Hill.

You have some good options here as a PLO player. I would personally suggest you try either an iPoker or Ongame skin, so say Paddy Power and Betfair.

The reasons for me suggesting them are:

- Lots of traffic at your limits, so you should always get your 4 tables on either one.

- The Betfair and Paddy VIP systems are pretty good for microstakes players. You could look at a 30% flat room and it could be beneficial, (like PKR), however the rake is massive usually (like PKR).

- Both of the bonuses clear relatively quickly, so you will get about 35% rakeback whilst clearing your First Deposit Bonus.

- The software for Ongame and iPoker isnt amazing, but it isnt tilt inducing either.
Another option could be 888, but you wont get much rakeback from there and the bonus is average. The traffic is lower than iPoker and Ongame as well.

So overall, I think I would suggest you go for Betfair, as it offers the right balance of everything.
