Villain MP: looks like a losig player. Not the weakest spot at the table but definatly has about the same skill as a nl2 fish. Stack:$400
Me (BU): Stacks:$230
"dynamic":well i was playing ultra tight but i had 3b once vs a competant opponent and he folded and i showed K7o. Everyone at the table was shoked considering how tight i played.
few limps, MP raises to $10, few folds, i 3b to $30, folds, MP calls
Flop:T42r
MP donks $25, i raise to $100, he folds

My question is whether i should raise of just call the flop.

If you have JJ/QQ raise
If you have KK/AA call

So its a scare card thing. If you really think he would see a call as so much weakness (he will put you on AK) then by all means call because when you have JJ/QQ and K/A comes he will be worried of you having hit it.

follow up question. Then what is your play if a T or A comes on the turn and he
1)bets $30
2)bets $100
3) checks

After calling the flopbet that is?
I call any bet cause its a wa/wb situation where we mostly lean towards wa.
If he checks I bet half pot

I would pretty much call any made hand that can stand some heat and bluffraise most of the time with my air, simply because donkbets are in general pretty weak - once the opponent has some kind of hand he's never leading out, 98% of players are trying to trap you when they have a strong hand.

So I call to keep him bluffing, once he checks I'd also valuebet 1/2 - 2/3 pot.

Variance giveth and variance taketh away.

i think one of the reason i raised is b/c i was somewhat scared money. I know this isnt a good reason :f_mad:.
