They have already made the money here. 252 left now

blinds going up to 800/1,600/200

winkiac 135k
glissario 55k
Jonathan Little 57k

Glissario was already up to over 90k, but lost a pot to Jonathan Little, AQ vs 99

winkiac played a funny hand. He raised EP with 98, villain called

Board T 5 6 x x, winkiac called flop and river after villain donks. He then bets on the river and villain folds.

winkiac 235k
Jonathan little 60k
Glissario 45k

winkiac's chip fortress just keeps growing.

He won a nice pot from a preflop 5bet all in hand. winkiac raised EP with AK, someone 3-bet, villain cold-4-bet, winkiac 5-bet all in and villain calls.

"When he called I thought, aww he must have me beat, but I was so surprised when he showed AQ"

Down to 182, still a long day ahead. with about 7 more hours to play

Dinner break here

138 left 1k/2k/300 blinds

Winkiac 420k
glissario 40k
Jonathan Little 120k

winkiac busted another shortie on his table with AK vs JJ, also won quite a few medium size pots to keep chipping up.

More after the dinner break!

glissario just doubled up with AA on the BU. He min raised, BB called.

Flop K J T Bb ships it in with K 8 and Glissario made the easy call.

He has about 100k now.

They broke his table not long later so he is no longer sitting with Jonathan Little. Nothings too interesting to report about his new table but Little is sitting between two monster stacks.

Speaking of monster stacks, winkiac is still about 4.5x the chip average and he is definitely in the top two if he is not the chip leader.

Just 124 left and we've got 5 more levels to go.

Blinds are now 1.2k/2.4k/400

Blinds going up to 2k/4k/500 soon

Jonathan Little 90k
glissario 50k
winkiac 490k
Ragen 350k

winkiac made a sick brag earlier when I went to his table:

he looked at me, then and his stack, the put his palm hovering on top of his stack and said: "It just keeps getting bigger"

And indeed it does.

He picked up AA and busted a shortie and then won another with aggressive play on the flop.

MP raised and winkiac called in BB.

Flop 2:c 3:c 2:d

winkiac checks, villain bets, and winkiac pulls out one stack of yellow (1k) chips for the raise. villain tanks and folds.

glissario lost a big pot in the last level when he floated the flop and folded the turn.

L 4 3 :D T:d glissario donked out and villain shoved on the turn, forcing glissario to give up his AQ
The boars

I also found another one of our coaches in this event and he has a big stack too.

Ragen, he's probably the only guy still wearing a Full Tilt patch.

oops, i missed the last hour's update here:

Blinds are not 1.2k/2.4k/400

66 left blinds are now 3k/6k/500

glissario 85k
winkiac 500k
Ragen 350k
Jonathan Little 80k

In the last level, glissario turned to me and said: "come on Edwin, do something, I need cards"

So I rubbed his shoulders and gave him a good smack on the bum.

Then I told Guennilicous who was railing him, "it will be so sick if he picks up cards now".
Guennilicous: "If it works, you need to stand behind me all the time"

Less than 2 minutes later, Glissario pushed all in and got called (he had gone all in 3 times before earlier and never got called)

K8 vs QQ. The flop came K 8 x and Glissario dodged the queen to make a nice doubled up from his then 12bb stack.

Nothing much is happening with winkiac, he still has almost 3x the average but others have overtaken his chip lead.

I would keep my eyes on Yevgeniy Timoshenko , who would probably be many people's favourite in this event at the point. Timoshenko has around 400k chips.

Sorry for the late update guys, was busy checking out the end of day chip counts in the other event.

glissario busted out. he had just 10bb left, and went with 87o on the button.

BB called with AJ, and he could not improve.

Jonathan Little also just went busto. He had about 25 left, opened from CO. I'm not sure what happened next, but SB and BB were both in the hand, little went all in, SB re-shoved, and BB folded.

A:s 5:s vs 6 6 the board ran out 2:d 4:d T:s 4:h 7:d and Little was busto.

winkiac got into the habit of doubling up the shorties on his table but still has a nice stack of 460, which is well over the average.

Ragen has 485l

46 left and blinds are going up to 5k/10k/1k in 15 minutes. That will be the last level of Day 2.

winkiac is the chip leader with 30 left, updates to come, gotta go interview the man first.

Ragen is also still in with an over average stack.

winkiac had a pretty amazing final hour.

First he chipped up to over 600k again after a shortie open shoved for 16bb on his right and he snap called with 99. The shortie had AT and his 99 held.

The he played a big pot against another player who had the chip lead on his table at that point (this guy is 2nd in chips now behind winkiac). villain raised from HJ, and winkiac called in BU.

Flop 3:h 8:h 2:c winkiac calls 30k.

Turn 4:h winkiac bets 55k and villain calls

River T:c villain checks again, winkiac makes it 130k and villain folds.

At the end of the day, villain said he had top pair with A kicked, winkiac just said "I had you"

After that, he busted Sorel Mizzi for a nice ~500k pot Mizzi raised 23k, winkiac made it 53k, Mizzi went all in for about 240k, winkiac called.

A:d K:c vs A:c Q:d

The board ran out 5:d T:d 3:d 7:h 9:h and Mizzi went missing from the tournament.

While the hand that winkiac won with a river bet above was played out, Ragen took a nice pot from Ygeniy Timoshenko who looked a little uneasy after that.

It was blind vs blind, Ragen raised to 25k in SB, Timoshenko called.

Flop 5:s 6:s 8:c check, 33k, call

Turn 7:c check, 60k call

River 4:h check check and Ragen shows 9 9 to pick up the hand and Timoshenko looked quite annoyed/dissapointed after that.

Ragen finished Day 2 with 554k
winkiac finished with 1.156 million

Second place has 977k and theres only 30 players left in Day 3.

Hope you like my interview below with winkiac

Day 3 has already started!

winkiac

Ragen

The two other big stacks

Matt Stout

Alexander Queen

23 left now, there will be another redraw at 28

winkiac has 1.2 million. He busted a shortie to go up to 1.4 million but then doubled up a shortie to drop back down to his Day 3 starting stack.

The hand he lost was BU vs BB where BB 3-bet all in for 200k or about 17bb.

A:h 6:c vs 3 3 The board ran out and gave villain quad 3s.

Ragen also played a hand against a shortie but it didn't go all in.

villain (who acts like he's a bigshot and acting baller) raises to 38k (big for 6k/12k/2k blinds) with just about 15bb behind. Ragen thought about it, and chose to just call

Flop 6:h T:c T:h villain goes all in and Ragen folds.

villain then told Ragen that Ragen should've just shoved preflop and he explained that he "only" bet 38k because he wanted to folde if the flop wasn't good.

btw, winkiac is now sitting on the right of Timoshenko. Matt Stout who also has a big stack is 2 seats further to his left.

blinds are now 8k/16k/2k by the way

we're very close to the final table with 15 left

blinds are 10k/20k/3k now

winkiac 1.2 million
Ragen 460k

lots of big hands for winkiac in the last hour. He first doubled up Timoshenko, BU vs SB with 77 vs KTs, T on the river. and he was down to about 800k.

"I had his range so crushed when he reshipped in that spot"

He then busted a medium stack for 600k when villain 5-bet shipped TT and winkiac had AA, no T on the river this time.

And just a few minutes ago, winkiac was bluffed off a big hand on the river by Athanasios. villain opened 33k, winkiac made it 85k, villain called.

Flop 4:c Q:d 3:c check check

Turn 6:h villain bet75k , winkiac raised to 175k and villain called

River 8:d villain bets a small 105k with 355k behind, winkiac cut put about 500k chips worth of greens, thinks about it, asks for a count and pulls it back and folds.

villain shows A:d 5:d.

"I had you, nice bluff, nice call preflop"

Apparently winkiac had AK.
