villain is 20/12 in 131 hands

i'm beat by 45, 77, 59 and 9T. and 88 if he called an overpair like that.

safer to fold?

Hello YinYangS,

59 is already discounted since it's unlikely him to have that kind of hand. But practically we ain't usually doing like very good in this case. I mean of course we could still consider going broke. Why? Because we need ~38% for break-even. But against something like this:

We are getting pretty decent equity. Although if you really rather prefer to avoid the variance and like the fold and take him rather passive player then folding is totally fine.
