Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

Hero (MP1): $2.03 (101.5 bb)
MP2: $2.10 (105 bb)
MP3: $8.97 (448.5 bb)
CO: $4.95 (247.5 bb)
BTN: $1.50 (75 bb)
SB: $2.96 (148 bb)
BB: $2.01 (100.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A J
Hero raises to $0.08, 2 folds, CO calls $0.08, BTN calls $0.08, SB calls $0.07, BB calls $0.06

Flop: ($0.40) A T J (5 players)
SB bets $0.12, BB folds, Hero raises to $0.36, CO folds, BTN raises to $1.42 and is all-in, SB calls $1.30, Hero raises to $1.95, SB calls $0.53

Turn: ($5.72) 6 (3 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($5.72) 5 (3 players, 1 is all-in)

I thought a lot at the decision on the flop. What is the right way to play there ? I have put the hand in Equilab and I had 43% against their best range.

what a sick multiway pot.
i expect one of them to have the straight and the other to have worse twopair

now in all seriousness, what did you put their range as? with 2 players all-in (well, i guess we can count SB) i don't think you're ahead often enough, and then it's 4 outs

Hello spid3rix,

Well, the problem is that I don't like the SB play here at all. It really looks like a trap and at the same time obviously even sets/straights are as well possible. Guess I'd be inclined to Raise/Fold here for the given plays we have.

And I doubt that you ever getting 43% here vs 2 opponents. :) Guess you just put against 1 opponent?

Best regards.
