Hi, vinipyx77!

Tricky spot, I'll ask Veriz for help in this one.

I'm not so sure about 3betting QQ from UTG2. If he re-raises you back we are not happy and we are *at best* flipping with AK; if he folds we had the better hand anyway.

(regarding stats, he's fold to 3bet is not really reliable with only 4, and not filtered by position as I understand). Considering his VPIP/PFR he's probably not a horrible preflop player so I wouldn't count on him calling a 3bet with random AJ type of hands out of position.

Just calling his raise is not great either but I think I'd be more inclined to call, even though it will be pretty hard for us to extract anything postflop from worse hands...

*edit: by the way, as played I'd do the same on the flop since there are so many cards we don't want to see...

You raise for value preflop against his stack then it means pretty easy stack-off postflop, we ain't getting away here. Nice hand!

Are shortstack people really calling a 3bet out of position with AJ/KJ type of hands there? Or stacking off with TT on that flop?

I know our value is also preflop etc., I'm just wondering ♦

He isn't short-stack, he is mid-stack. If you go for 3bet-value preflop then you ain't getting away here. How you can avoid such spots is by flatting preflop. :)

True, after the real short stacks got banned from a few sites I got into calling everyone with <100BBs a "shortstack" - which is bluntly wrong of course.

I don't think you can avoid setups but you could at least leave him with whole range thus getting some value in some spots postflop. But nothing to be fistpumping anyway...
