Bad Aggression Timing

One question you need to ask yourself on the turn is "how offten would my opponent bluff here" on NL2 i think you'll find the answer to be "not very offten". Meaning your can probably fold once your raised, unless villian is like an aggro fish or something.

this is not bad agression timing, on the turn I guess you just made a "fuck you, you ain't cracking my QQ again" raise. so no big deal, next time you just think for a bit and fold it!

Flop bet is good size for protection, turn bet is too big given the nature of the card, now the board is four to a straight I think around 45c is more appropriate, and then when he reraises, fold. Villain is making huge mistakes calling preflop and calling the flop, but because he calls $0.30 and then wins $1.77 you have just given him the implied odds necessary to make his call a profitable move long term. He will fail to turn a straight 82% of the time and lose 0.30 but 18% of the time make 1.77 so the play is 0.08c +EV.

In general on Zoom you should bet top pair/overpair for value but let it go if someone reraises you unless you have something like top pair + flush draw/straight draw.

Thank you so much for all that advice. As much as I knew I screwed up, I didn't really think I was wrong with my Turn bet, but I will definitely use your advice as considerations for the future!
