I don't like folding the flop and play it the same as you did. Why should he raise an ace directly on the flop and why should he limp with it preflop? He can very well just have a worse 9, 3, pocketpair or a bluff with a suited connector.
Neither of these hands arrive on the turn and the river only improves a 3 so you might find a fold here but I would call again to get an idea with what he likes to limp and raise the flop.

It's quite interesting as I was literally 50/50 on whether to fold flop or calldown. This was during a beginner coaching and I thought that from a beginners perspective, maybe a fold is better against an unknown? My main concern is that the pot is tiny and after the flop donkbet we have to pay potentially 2.5BB to win 7 on the river if he bets all streets so have to be ahead like ~1/3 times which I was I kinda doubted at the time. I don't think that we can fold the river though if we calldown that far cause 1:6 pot odds is really good.

I know it's kinda weak but at this limit is it wrong? I think we can disregard "Why should he raise an ace directly" or "Why would he limp an ace?" because we are dealing with most likely a fish here who doesn't have ideas of balancing/callflopraiseturn or how to play well, also there are no draws on the flop.

I'm just saying these things to stimulate some real indepth thinking about the hand ♦

Well sure a beginner can fold this hand top avoid trouble as it's not the easiest calldown but you should be able to calldown here. Of course you won't fold on the river.

I haven't played FR nor this limit so I can only say that I think that it should be ok to calldown. I think the limits got more aggressive in the last time but you play on them in the coaching and if you know that they aren't bluffing that often then folding the turn (not the flop) is ok.
I don't like bet/folding the flop at all as even if they bluff they might give you a freecard on turn or you can continue calling down to blanks (as the K is no blank if you want to fold then this is a good card to do so) also you have most of the time 5 clear outs. This + the chance of being ahead + the freecard chance makes it a call for me.
