BUTTON STEAL

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB$2.03:///////;UTG1$1.56:///////;UTG2$2.43:///////;MP1$3.03:///////;MP2$1.57:///////;MP3$2.20:///////;CO$0.80:///////;BU (Hero)$0.80:///////;SB$6.37:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with J:c, 3:c.
6 folds, Hero raises to $0.05, 2 folds, BB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $0.03.

This is just to show that I steal from button in view of a tight SB and BB. I don't use tracker software so this play is made on the basis of their play history on that particular table.

JJ OVERPAIR

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:d, J:c.
UTG2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.07, 4 folds, Hero raises to $0.21, BB folds, MP1 calls $0.14.

Flop: ($0.44) 8:s, 7:c, 4:s (2 players)
Hero bets $0.57, MP1 calls $0.57.

Turn: ($1.58) K:d (2 players)

River: ($1.58) 4:h (2 players)

Final Pot: $1.58.
Results follow:

MP1 shows a pair of fours(9:s T:s).
Hero shows two pairs, jacks and fours(J:d J:c).

Hero wins with two pairs, jacks and fours(J:d J:c).

preflop: reraise 3x for value and try to collect there.

postflop: draw heavy board and I just shoved to try to charge max for draws.

Hello,

I would like to ask you to post just one hand in a single thread in the future.
Thanks.

#1

If you believe that both SB and BB are tight, I am fine with raising the J3s here as long as we don't fight for every pot postflop.

#2

Preflop is fine.

On the flop I would rather go for something like 1/2 pot and put the rest in on the turn.

Best,
Plamen
