Did i over play this hand, should i just have just called on flop and see what happens on turn, with the pre flop action he is more than likely a fish with a hand. My thinkin was that, with the stacks as they are im not folding to a turn bet so i should get it now and that way i can make a bad fold on the turn. I also thought that my Q and J might be live so i could have up to 12 outs if he had a set

Results:

Spoiler

$8.49 pot ($0.56 rake)
Final Board: Q K T 6 7
Hero mucked Q J and lost (-$4.17 net)
UTG+2 showed A A and won $7.93 ($3.76 net)

Hey,

Why would you 3bet the midstacker with such a hand? Clear fold preflop vs UTG2 in FR.

Even facing a min raise? Is a call better or still clear fold. As played how was flop play.

I often find that villains who who min bet or limp from early position who then 4 bet your raise are playing AA that they wanted to get action with. I would not play JQs for a raise and calling here makes your hand easy to read a medium strength hand one too weak to raise but strong enough to call, a fold for me when playing my A game.

Yea I think so to but facing the min 3 bet I thought, not sure correctly it was worth a call. I also agree with em and if I'm being honest I I'm not sure if i noticed he was sort till the flop. Maybe I'm playing to many tables. It was at the end of a session so maybe I was tired.

Yes, even to a minraise. You are not even guaranteed position postflop, you don't have implied odds since he is short, you don't have room to use position much postflop. Clear preflop fold.
