Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

BTN: $20.77 (83.1 bb)
SB: $41.69 (166.8 bb)
BB: $30.29 (121.2 bb)
UTG: $25.32 (101.3 bb)
Hero (MP): $73.89 (295.6 bb)
CO: $18.80 (75.2 bb) Unknown

Preflop: Hero is MP with T T
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, 3 folds

Flop: ($1.85) 5 6 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, CO raises to $4, Hero calls $3

QQ+ would raise preflop most of the time, offcourse he could have a set, 2 pair or a straight here, but he raises 4x my raise which is on the bigger side. Wouldn't he raise smaller here with a strong hand? Also he could have a pair+GS or something like Ax with a pair. So the option here is to call or raise. If I would raise here I would be committed and only his strong hands would continue and all his bluffs and 1pair hands would probebly fold. So I decide to call and re-evaluate on the turn.

Turn: ($9.85) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $14.05 and is all-in, Hero calls $14.05

Here he pushes for 1,5x pot. I just don't see him have a strong made hand here. Why wouldn't he bet smaller and push the river? Also he could have hit a Q, but same here wouldn't he bet smaller or check for pot control? So i decide to call.

Maybe I am leveling myself here, what do you guys think?

River: ($37.95) K (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Hi Shuttled

I agree that villain seems fishy which would imply that his stronger hands would go for the famous min raise followed by small bets to keep you in.

I think that 3-betting should be out of the question and calling to let him bluff is fine.

His range is so polarized that I feel we should be good very often here so I would call as well.

bet bigger, then you can b/f easily.

idk why should he raise smaller with a strong hand as your flop sizing is pretty small, and he seems fishy anyway so you can't give him credit for making too much sense.
turn is sigh whatever, as played call and lose most of the time i guess :f_biggrin: he can be bluffing, but he might also just have a value hand afraid of a 4-straight.

that's assuming zero reads, if you have ANY read (like russian, 1-tabling, cska moskow avatar, 100vpip3hands) that would help immensely. :f_biggrin:

I agree my flop size should've been bigger!

Villain doesn't have a 100bb stack, which is an indication he is probably fishy. he plays 50/25 over 8 hands, doesn't say anything really.

Result:

He showed me KQo, which makes sense I guess.

Thx for the replies
