Hey Roman,

Wow. That is an epic post. :)

I think the game might have been called 'The Governor of Poker'. So is your bro still crushing better than you? :P

You've got me worried now. My next limit jump is to $3.50 45 mans so maybe we'll come across each other soon.

I'm sure once you can prove that you and your bro can make a steady income from poker, your parents will accept it. Like all parents they want the best opportunities in life for their children.

Happy Grinding

Laz

Nice first post Roman,

Very interesting story, looking forward to read about your poker career together with your family updates.

I agree with Lazza, you will need to convince your family that you are crushing and not gambling :) In order to do that don't forget to study hard and improve.

Welcome to blogs and keep us updated sir,

Frankie

Hi Laz,

thx buddy.

Yes, the game is called "The Governor of Poker". I still remember it's intro song and combinations table (there I first learned them).

U probably wouldn't believe but I and my brother have different approach to the game even playing the same disipline. So, I think mine is better :P

$3.5 45 players is the best SNGs in the world. Only 2-5 good regulars. Everyone else is too tight esp in 3-5 max. Gl on this limit.

We got steady income from poker :) We need $200 + $50 for flat and $200 for food both. So just $225. Even in cash I can make it (nl10 SH is the best for it).

So we lived 1 month just grinding and enjoying life. I felt myself free. But when parents knew that I quit uni they were very angry. Myb because they put up much money in the extra teachers or what, I don't know why. I just begged for half a year off and see how the things will go in poker, but they didn't accept it (BTW, my parents are musicians, so low incomed people)

Happy Grinding u 2 ;)

Hi Frankie,

thanks, I will update everything!

I told them that this is sport + I got 2 investment project which 1 can feed and rent me the whole needed outcomes. But the answer is one: You need uni. You need paper.

WTF? Microsoft and Google don't look on papers. They just need a professional in it's specialisation. Seriously, I'm tired of all of this.

Hey Roman,

I did play it for a couple of weeks a few months ago and it was a lot of fun. Although I don't think it would make a good training tool. But I ended up with a nice hat. :f_biggrin:

Regards

Laz

Someone recently brought this game up in another thread. I also played it years before I even thought about giving online poker a try. Those were the days, when you didn't even notice that you're holding a flush and wonder why you won the showdown... :f_love:

I'm actually surprised how many people around here have played this game.

Today was a very important day in my life. It was the decision which will show who I am and whom I want to be. I went with mum to uni (like in the 1st form in school) and then I said that even when I will countinue studies I will quit it again for sure. She was really unhappy with this decision and said that i;m a lier. Like I don't regret this because I lied in order to do what I want to do. This is Level bullshit... I thought I would knew their reaction to this fact. Got to say "Excuse me!" Now everything is calm and I got half year break (untill September). Truthly I don't want to return to uni :)

In poker it was also important day, because I start new month and need to be in form.

honestly it's something +90

Game opinion:
For the open season it's 8/10. Made a lot of bullshit. I got that problem with making correct decisions when I got 33 tables open even with hotkeys.

Interesting hands:

this one vs reg, like my 3bet-size on the flop

today I put 4 hours in. Focused more on quality than quantity. I discovered that I should play more tables otherwise I'm tilting. This happens with 15 tables, so next session I will play minimum 24+

2nd session of the day was not that effective. Although I'm really happy that I did it. So, in summary 7h I have put today in poker. Not bad, I need to take this rythm everyday.

Also beat my record with number of active tables simultaneously

Today put in 4 hours. Tried to install Table Ninja 2, did and it asked for license key. I wanted to use trial but it said that I have already done that... pity.

the session went smoothly. I understand! Big influence on ur mood plays the music u hear, playing poker. Yesterday I played under club music and was like a fried potato after 2nd session. And today I played under lord of the rings soundtrackes, even after ending feeling so good that in 10 mins would do another session :) . Myb I just ran hot.

Another argument in my side that I played 30 tables for 2 hours and it was so freaking hard to play 3 HU and 2 4maxes and another FR or SH tables, but I did it!! Which I'm very proud of myself. Also broke my record again :)

Spoiler

Another +: I won almoust every HU today(vs regs, but lost all vs fish )

Also opened my statistic in pokerprolabs just for myself to count how many SNGs should I play to have some profit. So, the results were super amazing, I make at least +$0.90 without rakeback in every SNG. This is crazy :P

Yesterday and today made a break :)

Was hagout with a friend and a girl, who came from Kyiv for weekend. Was almoust all the time in the city. It's cool sometimes to forget about everything and relax in cafes and in the city-center.

Seems to me you know what you're doing so I won't be playing near you in the near future!

I totally agree, sometimes, it's just nice to get away from it all and chill with a few nice people and laugh and look around at the people.
Good plan. :)

Have fun,

Mal.

This 2 days I was a bit lazy to play smt, so was just hagout in adrenaline rush nl5

Spoiler

I like this game, I would recommend this to every SNG player

and zoom nl10 SH

Spoiler

Also was sly thinking about my poker carrer. SNGs are cool but the highest limits are $30/$35 where players actively register. This is too low for me. What next? MTTs? Myb, but I don't like to sit 10 hours per day and than be a final table bubble + variance in higher stackes SNGs and MTTs is insane!

Long ago I wanted to learn HU cash. I really liked it, because only skill maters here mostly. I took a coach and tomorrow we will have first lesson :) I'm so excited. Like this will be hard, but I want to master it so much!

So, today no day off, played a bit zoom nl25 SH. Feel good playing zoom games. This is mine! But I will master this later.
