I'm making an update every two days as it seems . Last two days(sessions) were not as winning as the last ones, but still, winning enough(5.2pttbb/100 for 3400 hands), to get me a BR of 1000$. I will be starting NL50 from tomorrow.

this one were hunting me all over again.At total I had,
Three AA, one won a small pot and two were cracked - the up one, and another pair by 42o. I figured no1 could call a 10$ reraise with 22 or a 4 on a 422 board and shoved with confidence,then the lagtard showed 42o ftw.
I got KK 3 times, one winning a small pot, and 2 going allin against aces both times.I called a 3bet SBvsBB situation with AQs, and check-raised an AXX board.He showed AK ofc(thats the only questionable play I did that session). I lost two coinflips with AK against midstacks. Of all my pocket pairs, I never flopped a set,or turned one, after my opponents called every cbet I could make.I made 2 straights, 1 was on a 4suited board,so was pretty useless, the other one i missclicked and folded(lol). I made 1 flush, and my opponent sucked out with a runner-runner full house, after calling with merely top pair 4 kicker.
Im happy about myself, as I never tilted, which would've happened before. I remembered my goals and my plays were the same as always, my stats too.I was happy to play against those players, but the results were catastrophic.I guess, sometimes its just not your day.
Finally, Im stuck 6BI's, or 300$.

The last 4 days,I also studied HU a lot, read a book, some articles, watched some videos, and tried it myself.Didnt win a lot(around half a stack on Nl10), but realised it's not my type of game, the variance(and rake) being too high. I still find it a valuable experience,as now Im feeling prepared to play ultra SH tables or even HU against the fish when a SH table breaks down.The players cant change gears and adapt to the fact that we're only two left, and I like that. Never the less, I wont be playing any HU matches,but Im not gonna neither sit out when the SH table becomes 3handed/hu. I think that was my objective at the first place.

Against such lagtars, i lost some deep stacks in set over set and flush over flush situations.Did some semibluffs, all got called and no completed draws.The result is me being 11 stacks behind and rdy to go back to NL25.Ill be taking a break from poker till the new month however, I feel like I need it.

I will move up to NL50 with 30 stacks this time, as I adapt to those lagtars and start calling down lighter,there goes variance sky high

My Monthly review

Last friday looks kinda scary :tongue:.I now realise I may have somehow tilted during that play, although My equity was at about -90(a great difference to -670 lol).
That's why,in december I will have new rules.

To limit my daily variance, I will stop my daily sessions after
1.Going +/- 4(5) stacks.
2.2k hands.

Next Everest VIP club tier is at 10k points.That means 333/day.At the loosest days, NL25 pays around 250/1500 hands,and since I'll be stopping after 2k hands or earlier, I guess last week of december will be pretty hot if I want to be Camp II.I also heard Everest is offering new bonuses every month, I hope I'll get one too.I also will try to calculate the actual rakeback I can get at Camp I level, doubt it will be more than 12-13%, but hey, better than nothing!

Yet another update
December started nice,with a profit of 270$ over 2 days and 4k hands. I realised I shouldnt be playing during evenings or late nights, thats when Im loosing the most. Had some beats, sucked out once or twice,so I guess everything is fine. Surprisingly the points I converted to cash gave me more than 14%, almost 19% rakeback.I like that!

Shi... err Variance happens
A relatively long 3k Sunday session ended with two buy-ins behind,with some aces cracked, and two set over set situations. I feel kinda guilty for the second, as I decided to check behind the turn with a top set on a very raggy disconnected flop and he 2outed me on the river. I guess he'd call with his overpair anyway, but still....
Today I didnt have a lot of time to play, 700 hands and two buy-ins ahead, puting my roll where it was few days ago, at 900$.
Well holidays are coming, I also have some exams in January, and that should make me play less(or at least I hope I'll do :P). That combined with some money problems I have currently, may lead to a delayed NL50 move. Will see..

Holy crap people at Everest is even more sick than on Party!?

@Snodreliss - yes , they are. In fact , its the fishiest site I've been in(and I did some bonus whoring in a lot of sites). But it has some disadvantages, their range is often any two, and putting them on a hand becomes pretty hard.Otherwise, its easy - the idiot midstacks push agressively a wide range, if they manage to get to a full BI or more, they become maniacs, until they lose everything. The shorties are just soo bad(everest allows people with 10BB on the table, but they are just dead money). The fulls are either Loose-passive or weaktight.The last type is my favorite, as they play stats like 10%vpip/5%pfr/1% 3bet,and are willing to go broke postflop with their overpair or sometimes even AK high. The whole bunch of bad players is generally very good for a TAG with at least some postflop skills, but make variance pretty high,as you often get two outed without even considering the possibility ♦).Anyway, todays topic

Ok, no update for the last 3 days, so I'm dropping one today.
Got a heater until friday(obviously for me all fridays are bad), friday was a day to be coolerd in set over set and nutFH vs quads situations, but hey, thats poker.Currently Im ahead for today, and I plan playing a lot in the next 3 days, as SP are doubled for Everest,starting from midnight.Will see how that goes.
My roll is 1250 and depending on the next 3 days I might start taking some shots on NL50 again, and see how that goes.
As to the theoretical aspect of my game, I read all the platinum articles, watched all plat videos, and visited some advanced SH coachings(the coachings help me the most,so I'll return to some of them).As for my Everest VIP club grinding, Im currently ahead in pace with my 53%, but holidays and exams are comming, so I would not mind to take some more advance.I hope those 3 days achieve that.

As you can guess, the reason for me not updating could be either that Im not playing, or cause Im loosing ♦.Sady, it was the last.A serious downswing during 12k hands and 4days made me reread my last post with sadness :P.Well,see for yourself

As you can see, I was on a major heater today - the best way to end a downswing. Although Im pretty sure my equity could be adjusted for at least breakeven during this devastating weekend, I made some post-game self-analysis.
My main mistake during those days was that I played during the night - something I said I would not do. Its fatigue and adrenaline related, but not only.Somehow, games are soft during the day, with the weak-tight and the loose-passive normal fish.But, during the night, my favorite(and most hated) type of player is frequent - the maniac a.k.a lag-tard.There is something almost romantic about these guys - If they dont lose their money right away, and manage to build a respectable stack(>200BB) they start to control the table, and everyone is changing their play accordingly.Playing against a lagtard when being deep is my main problem, as I let it become personnal.The variance goes way up,and adding the psychological factor, It becomes crushing.The scenario from saturday and sunday night was the same:
1.Losing a deepstack to a lagtard with some gutshot comming on the river, after he called his 8 high all the way in a 4bet pot.
2.Making it personal, starting light 3 and 4 betting, as well as calling him down lightly.
3.The result of calling light is me flipping or being behind sometimes,and as he continues his lucky showdown winning, his stack grows.
4.At the end, he gets his monster stack lost from another player(normally a reasonable one),and the big looser for the night is me.

Interesting here is that Even BB(the lagtard) is at 120$,he's actually over 100$ behind for the session.Thats,before I fed him.You can see his retardness in his last hand.
Sunday was a pretty card dead period, with some set over sets and so on, nothing to be said.Monday was a day where most of the losses came from not being able to go to a single showdown,the flop quality was specialy adjusted for my hands ♦.
Which brings us to today.I started early, and got 3 stacks before I knew it.That,and the updated SP made my emotional condition better,as I kinda realised that diamond status was pretty close.Thats why I broke my promise not to play in nights ,and grinded the limit carefully(with somehow weaktight folds for my usual style),until midnight,that is. My new goal is to become diamond,and well, some beginning players have very nice feedbacks for my blog,so I think this will inspire them.In fact, I dont see any benefits in being diamond(apart from the two high-stakes videos that I will enjoy watching), but the thought alone that it can be achieved by just grinding a limit as low as NL25,makes much more things look possible.So, after the points are updated,I sure hope I'll have enough to overstep my old points and achieve it in a few days.

Thank you! As said, playing with lags can be(and sure is) profitable in the longterm, but it maxes the already high enough variance on the SH tables.Add some deepstacked issues and you're asking yourself if its worth it ♦

Besides playing, I joined some coachings as usual(will attend the special french multicoach one table tonight,the english was rly fun).
I also managed to make an excel sheet to calculate my diamond progress and if im in the pace.If my calculations are right, I have to overpace only 452SP more!

Yet another devastating weekend
I really dont get it.I can paste the things i wrote last week and it will be quite correct.The weekend is draining the small profit i make during the week,and it pisses me off.Friday was another coolering day, where in the range of 100 hands i had 5-6 coolers in a row,all for stacks, got it in with 65-80% and lost every time.5 stacks behind. Saturday - a pretty breakeven day,followed by SS suckouts again in the range of 50-100 hands.1 stack behind.Today - a card dead day,losing money from not going to showdowns.9 stacks behind for the weekend overall.
Im feeling stuck.I cant progress with stuff like that and it pisses me off.One thing to get my attention off those cashgames were the small tournaments I entered.Nothing fancy, got around 35$ from them.One more thing to be gratefull about is that after 300k hands I finally had a royal flush.

It may be one card backdoored one, but its still mine and I love it :P.

As for the diamond status, I have around 100SP to overpace, and count on doing it tommorrow.
PS: It looks that I never had a winning friday.Call it superstition, but I'll stop playing on fridays.
