This Monday February 29, PokerStars Team Pro Online returns for a week long series, running until Sunday March 6. During the week, players will have the chance to take on Team Pro Online members in events and tournaments offering huge rewards.
Compete for big prizes such as European Poker Tour (EPT) packages and tens of thousands of dollars in a special Heads-Up Challenge, $20,000 Bounty Freeroll and special micro-stakes Zoom pools, among plenty of other activities.
Beat Them or Back Them Heads Up Challenge
The Beat Them or Back Them Heads-Up Challenge takes place on Saturday March 5 and Sunday March 6 at 14.00 ET.
The Beat Them promotion sees 32 players, comprised of Team Pro Online members and online qualifiers, battling it out to become the Heads-Up Challenge champion. The highest placed online qualifier in the Heads-Up Challenge tournament wins $5,000 and any online player that wins the main event will receive a $10,000 PokerStars and EPT Grand Final package. Don’t worry about the pros though, even if they come out on top they win nada!
The qualifying tournament begins on Tuesday, March 1 at 14.00 ET with a buy-in of $11.
If you can't beat them, back them. Should you miss out on qualification, there is still fun to be had and money to be made thanks to Back Them, where everyone who competes in the qualifier, gets a backing ticket. Use this ticket to register for one of 32 freerolls, taking place at 14:00 ET on Monday, March 7, with a $5,000 prize pool and EPT Grand Final packages for the top two players. The remaining 31 freerolls will be cancelled, so do your best to predict the winner!
$20,000 Bounty Freeroll
There will be a $20,000 gtd Bounty Freeroll on March 6 at 15.00 ET, where Team Pro Online members will be playing with a $50 bounty on their heads. To claim a ticket, players must deposit a minimum of $10 using bonus code ‘ONLINE2016’ by 15.00 ET on March 6.
Special Zoom Pools
Throughout the week, members of Team Pro Online will take part in dedicated micro-stakes Zoom pools. Participation will be announced on Twitter one hour before they start. Any player who finishes in profit against a Pro, who will be playing for at least one hour, will have their winnings multiplied by seven.
