I guess I'm gonna post some simple hands with donky plays by me, but I need some help with the basics I guess :).

Preflop: Hero is BB with J♦, J♥.
UTG calls t20, 1 fold, MP1 calls t20, MP2 calls t20, 2 folds, Button calls t20, 1 fold, Hero raises to t140, UTG folds, MP1 calls t120, MP2 folds, Button calls t120.

Flop: (t470) Q♦, 4♥, 2♣ (3 players)
Hero bets t240, MP1 folds, Button raises to t1220, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t1930

Are players on this micro buy-ins always so loose? Is there a way to isolate someone? Should I just check preflop?
Is betting into 2 players here on the flop is very wrong?

Checking preflop and playing for set value is an option. I would play it like you did, though..

I agree... nothing wrong with the way you played this... you can play for set-value, but when JJ is an overpair you have the nuts at this limit... The c-bet is perfectly size and it'll work for you enough to make it profitable... and yes, the players are HORRIBLE at this limit...

Hi all,

In the BB I would prefer just checking this preflop but raising is definitely not wrong (raising to 150-160 is a bit better)

After 2 people call you though I would prefer check/reevaluating the flop over betting (and being forced to fold to a raise). Usually we can just check/fold. Heads up a continuation bet is good though, and a cbet isn't totally wrong here.. I just prefer checking.
