I called pf because I knew he was doing a light 3bet. I had the plan of c/r or DBing in boards like this.

OTT I didn't bet so I wouldn't scare away an overpair, though if he had a FD/SD/two pair I should be betting. I should've bet here instead of c/c.

OTR I should've folded? He could have a busted FD/SD, but it's more likely he has a higher set/straight/flush.

Pre is ok, this is SB vs BB you should be calling all PP often against players that don't under-3bet from BB.
Your flop check-raise looks strong. How were you planning to play turn in case you get called? Sizing was on the small side btw.
Well, you improve to a set OTT and the straight completes, adding another FD as well. Funny turn card
He should be checking so much of his range on that turn in a 3bet pot after your flop check-raise. I think you can make some decent hands to fold with a nice bet on that turn. In terms of straights, you only have A3s and 33 completing the straight in your range and to make sense with the flop raise. Your sets also make sense.
Probably bet/fold line to me on this turn after that flop.
As played, fold river, overpairs and weaker stuff should not be bluffing here as they have showdown value.
By checking turn after check-raising flop you're either slowplaying, which doesn't make sense because you still need protection against flushes, or bluffing.

I would have probably played this hand differently on almost every street.
First, I would fold this as a standard pre-flop. Calling might not be bad though.
If you are calling and deciding to check raise some flops because you think villain is 3betting and cbetting loose, then I hope you really have good reads and a nice sample size to back that up, otherwise you could be making mistakes by adjusting too much with wrong info.
OTF you have bottom pair, gutshot not to the nuts and a hit straight would be very obvious, and a backdoor flush draw to the bottom flush. I would probably just fold.
If you decide to go with the check raise route, make it slightly bigger and shove OTT. Villain is not capped and has big pocket pairs that will likely call on this drawy texture. He could also have plenty of draws here so you can't just be super happy that yeayyyy you have a set so you gonna win this hand and you gonna check not to scare him away, because that lets him realize his equity for free.

Another option could be if he 3bet light is to limp/call in the SB against him, but on the flop I would give up most of the time without hitting a set. Now I would do the same. Changing your hand in a bluff is always tough on a coordinated board with only 2 outs as back-up if he called.

My god that awful flop x/r. You were really looking for trouble.

And by the way being against a lighter 3betting range doesn't help with calling low PP OOP as your set mining value plummets. But yes you have to call PP BvB.

X/r flop to make him cbet and fold his overcards. Had the plan of betting turn on a blank to make him fold overpair/TP/draws. I agree I should've raised larger OTF and bet turn even if I got a set.

summarizing some of the previous posts:
-preflop call is fine. but a fold wouldn't be terrible
-flop: fold is best unless one has a clear read that c/r might work. if c/r-ing, we bet somewhat bigger, (75%ish methinks) and shove OTT.
-Turn: Set is not strong enough to check here, by betting we gain value against overpairs and draws here, but with a check realize their equity!
-as played: fold river, most hands that made it to river will have showdown value and are unlikely to bet

Will look at this one tonight
1) Pre is mixed with 22 with low rake
HIGH RAKE is a reason to fold
OPPONENTS BEING STICKY WITH MADE HANDS at NL5is a reason for call
2) Flop is a CLEAR RAISE ACCORDING TO SOLVER

3) note that IP IS SUPPOSED TO BET JUST 12.1% OF THE TIME ON FLOP as broadways and random offsuit 3bets all missed
and all 44-66 78s are mixed or mostly calls
=>SB has WAY MORE NUTTED HANDS, and CAN APPLY PRESSURE
===so it RAISES GUTTERS like 22
theEV OF 22 is also in RAISING, BB CALLING Ahi+DRAWS AND CHECKING DOWN SOME
we also HOLD THE DIAMONDS, adding to our backdoor equity. And blocking some A2s etc. people can 3bet
ADJUSTMENT FOR MICROSTAKES
- I'm certain almost every regular will cbet thos board too much so we actually should be at least as aggressive as solver
It's TRUE THAT PEOPLE 3BET LESS THAN OPTIMAL but you might argue that an average tighter range will have even more broadways to hands that connect with the board

so FLOP RAISE IS A VERY ADVANCED PLAY, INDEED CORRECT AND GETS A
