Hi,

#1

Well it sucks but I don't really see what you can do differently unless you feel confident you know how he'll play the turn when you check. His range is likely weakish hands like 8x/99-TT that shouldn't bet that turn ever when you check, and hands like sets/flushes/JJ/KK+ that beat you and will bet the turn. So either you feel good check/folding that turn against that nit, or you don't and you have no other options than to continue betting all the way hoping he somehow has a worse hand.

Make a note that he called a 3bet oop with 88 and didn't fastplay top set oop on a drawy board.

#2

Shove the river and hope he can't let go of QJ/KQ, I can't really see you folding that hand unless he had jammed the turn on you.

Again make a note that he called you in position with J9o, floated you with a gutshot, didn't raise the turn when he hit and the flush came in, yet he value-shoved the river on a 3-flush paired board when you bet small.

#3

Bet bigger on the flop like $2.2 and shove the turn hoping he has a J somehow, we can't check/fold even on that card without reads.

As played again make a note it'll be useful someday, since his play is awful and you got very unlucky.

Hope it helps.
