[Closed] Giving myself another try (FL blog)

Hello there.

After yesterdays post, played quite nice session, go upswing if you can say that. I think yesterday was just my day, made some quite big soulreads on opponents, hitted my draws, some trips, well everything was really great.

Finished my session with 12.69BB/100. I think it's quite nice.

After this session, made some stats review and found one mega leak. It's play from sb. Have to change smth very fast. Because im losing money a lot from sb. BTW im in green numbers from big blind, what seems really nice.

So i will post my whole graph, last 650 hands are from my last session.

So yesterday i told that i will put some goal's for june.

Play at least 12,5k hands
Move to 0.10/0.20$ with 300BB, get BR for next limit
Make sassion review after every session and post hands in forum
Learn, learn, learn & learn

After yesterday's post have played allmost 2k hands 4-tabling 0.05/0.10$ FL 6-max tables. And it's been very succesfull till now. I feel i progress in every hand that i play. I dont chase draws so much as i did when i started. After NLHE you just want to do it chase gutshots, catch your 2 or 3 outter and stuff like this.

Read biggest blogs about FL. Taavi's blog is the most interesting, because he is well lets call him my neighbour. He live's right next to my country. Im from Latvia. So it was interesting to read it all!

Havent posted a lot of my hands in forum, but i am reviewing my biggest losses after each session, and marked hands aswell. Ohh, today i saw biggest pot in FL10! 32.2BB That was so sick!!! Maybe i will be able to find in HM. If so i will post in my blog.

So im up 19.14$ in 5.5k hands, which makes 3.45BB/100! It's fine. But still 5.5k hands isnt big volume! Need to play @ least 10k hands to look, if i beat this lvl or not. With my rakeback i think my BR will be ready to take shots @ 0.10/0.20$.
But will i be ready, hope yeah!

P.s One question about graphs - Is it possible to get up non-showdown winnigs? And if is, how to do it?

Here is that sick hand i was talking about! If that guy would really aknowlegde that he has THE BEST hand and only hand that beats him is 99, he could have take some more value from it! ok here it is!

No, in FL non-showdown winnings go down. If you manage to constantly win without going to showdown, you must be a hacker or play against super nits only.

So there is no point for those lines in graph, ok thats no so bad!

So i have 245BB for next lvl. Hope to take shots @ this weekend, but as i have read FL is very swingy so i will not rush @ that, and will go down if have 250BB for 0.10/0.20$. So those are future plans.

So will try 0.10/0.20$ @ 325BB and move down t 0.05/0.10$ @ 250BB for 0.10/0.20$!

About the table. emmm - 4 fishes with VPIP more that 40 and Big blind is relativly ok, but with some huge leaks ♦ on flop i thought ut a plan and made it work for 100%, read guys well. On the turn, i knew they will not believe me, so i donked out, maybe i could play better chech/raise line again. River standart. Made my turn donk in a bluff attempt, and they believed me! I think i played it well.

You have the initiative on the turn, so this is not a donkbet. Donkbet means you bet out after just calling on the previous street. I see no reason to check/raise the flop with initiative. You don't want to give them a free card, for me this is standard bet/3bet. As played you have to bet/3bet the turn and river for value, there's no reason to be so tricky in these low stakes.

River play is not standard. Standard (and better) would be bet/3bet as you have the intiative.

Read the article about standard lines, really helpful.

About check raising the flop. The opponents at this table were such a horrible donks who bets with 3rd pair, and i knew that someone will open. So than i extract more value from flop, don't i? If i would cbet here, everybody would just call me. I have the nuts on flop, so playing check/raise with these fishes i think is the best line.

And on the river aswell i knew that somebody hit trip 8's, and they just paid me off. This kind of play depends on my reads for table. So i think i played it well. Well read the table, the opp's.

So about playing. Havent played a lot. Yesterday didn't play, today, maybe just one session. Been busy.

Played allmost 8k hands i a week. I think it is quite ok for a newbie in FL. And still made some profit aswell.

But i wont be able to play any poker this weekend, because it's gonna be sooo busy. But still, will come back next week and with fresh start will try to play next limit. I feel that i crushed allready this one, well see. Moving down wont much hurt me.

Haven't post for a while. So there are little changes about poker happened. Moved to pokerstars to clear some stellar bonus. First one will clear quite fast, because i have played there some mtt and sng and i have to clear 47%. I think it will take me week or bit more to do so. Yesterday started to play 6max FL @ 0.05/0.10$ lvl, just to see what kind of ppl are playing there. There are soooo many aggressive fishes, so i am just waiting a hand and do the right stuff. Started with a downswing, just did not give any credit to villains, but after all just started t play my own game, like i used to do in full tilt. Played like 900 hands and im up 32BB. Downswing peek was -53BB. Ooopss But whatever. I recovered from it, and will keep on grinding.

To relax from cash game, played HU SNG Mixed limit 2.20$. Played three of them, and won all. The key was limit holdem. My opponents just sucked @ it. Structure is perfect. First 5 minutes it's FL, and then 5 minutes NL. This is quite nice. Because after FL, players don't give me credit for my hand, because fixed limit i play like aggro, but not bluffing, just play aggressive my top or second pairs, and draws as well. And @ NL, i just kick their buts. See hand bellow.

So little update. Woke up this morning in pretty god mood, and logged into Pokerstars. Checked some tables and started to play two 0.10/0.20$ FL 6max. As this was my first try, played out pretty tight, made loads of notes on opponents, and played my A- game. Not A game. Had couple of bad calls, with KK into extra-drawy flop and turn, and turned out that better should just fold after big flop bet/3bet/cap. But still managed to play solid session. After first session was 32BB up, that's nice.

Then tok a little break, drunk some cup of coffee, and putted on grinding mood. 4tables, with some regulars, played some still B+/A- game. Made some ptofit aswell, and cleared a bit of stellar bonus. Ohh, and had biggest pot for me so far(moneywise in FL, 3rd biggest pot in BB). Will put hand in the end.

So the start of new lvl is quite nice, im up 62,7BB.
