depends on things you havent mentioned. Tournament or S&G? What were the stakes? If it was a tounrament, how far in was it? If everyones' stack was 100bb, then how is it possible that you have a solid read on someone, because that seems like a situation where no-one has played yet. What is also important, especially on higher stakes is, what is your own table image?

If it was a S&G early stage, i would check for potcontrol.

The odds are that he is playing 77 or 88 or 66 or sumthing.

Hi Philipvw!

I would definitely check/behind. If you fire a second barrel and get raised you have to fold your flushdraw. And that's not want you want - especially because you also have outs for your overcards.

Good luck at the tables!

Tournament with very fast structure, freeroll, just started. No image, they don't think that much about the game.

Normally this situation is an easy check for me for the reasons mentioned by Puschin. But because of the fast structure, the opponent and almost half an average stack in the pot I was unsure.

If you see the opponent calls to much with garbage, there is no point in beting.
By beting here you want him to fold as you really don`t have any good hand right now.

So if you can`t make him fold, and you have no hand, beting is wasting chips. I`d wait for river card and bet only if A, K, or come.

your flopbet was way to high... 12 BB would have done the thing... on turn you have to play chekcbehind (pot control + freecard) and on river in the early phase you should fold to his bet, except it is so small, that you may be ahead often enough...
