First post here, so I hope it goes well:

Known players:
[tg]Position_Stack:hands/vp$ip/RaisePreflop/AF/WTS/ORL/BBvsSteal/W$SD;SB$1,27:246/19/0/0.7/29/0/88/54;BB$5,81:275/21/16/3.4/25/41/67/70;UTG2$2,92:123/12/5/2.3/24/25/100/50;MP1$1,87:11/64/0/0.8/29/-/0/0;Hero$4,16:///////;[/tg]
0,01/0,02 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.90 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A♦, 9♦
UTG2 calls $0,02, MP1 calls $0,02, Hero calls $0,02, 3 folds, SB calls $0,01, BB checks.

Flop: ($0,10) 8♠, 8♦, 2♦ (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG2 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $0,06, SB folds, BB calls $0,06, UTG2 folds, MP1 calls $0,06.

Turn: ($0,28) 5♦ (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $0,1, Hero calls $0,10, BB raises to $0,30, MP1 folds, Hero calls $0,20.

River: ($0,98) Q♣ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $0,98

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a flush, ace high (Ad 9d)
BB shows (Qd Jd)

Hero wins with a flush, ace high (Ad 9d)

Since it is an unraised pot and a full house could be possible I decided not to get too aggressive.
Should I take the free card on the flop?
Should I bet on the river after the BB checks it to me?

Hello DesertStingray,

And welcome to PokerStrategy.com :)

Flop: Betting here is totally fine since you could still take the pot down, there aren't many hands what would Call you and also you have to start build up the pot somewhere when you want to get value with your flush if you hit it.
Turn: I would just raise it up here and try to play for stacks, there are so many worse hands what players tend to Call on NL2 so I wouldn't even mind to go broke here.
River: Bet for value, missed a lot value. :(

Best regards.

I thought so already. Thanks for the answer!
