UTG+2 raises to $0.20, Hero raises to $0.60, 6 folds, UTG+2 raises to $1.00, Hero calls $0.40.

Flop: ($2.15) 3♣, 6♣, 9♠ (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50.

Turn: ($3.15) 7♣ (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $1.10, Hero calls $1.10.

River: ($5.35) 7♦ (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60.

Final Pot: $6.55

Was the calldown ok ? I didn't put him on a club draw and just wanted to keep the pot relatively small with my medium overpair.

I would raise on the flop ~$2,2 to get information where I'm at and for protection against over cards, flush draw (his flop bet looks really weak). I'm not sure what to do next if he doesn't fold, it depends on opponent, I would probably go for bet/call on the turn and fold to big riverbet.

i think the calldown it is not ok here ,it doesnt give you info . if you are against a stronger pair you only build a pot for him . and if you are against to overcards he buys cheaply the turn and river . i sugest a raise if not on the flop where his small bet seems suspicious then on the turn and if he shoves you should fold . if he calls and then still bets then fold . if he calls in and checks you can either check for pot control if he is a sneaky player or bet to push him out.

As mentioned before: I would raise here on the flop as well to get information and to protect against draws and overcards. In addition: his small bet looks really weak. If he raises you, you are done with the hand.
