0.05/0.1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.88 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q♣, J♦
4 folds, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (2.40 SB) K♠, Q♦, 3♠ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (2.20 BB) 7♠ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (4.20 BB) 4♥ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Final Pot: 6.20 BB

Results follow (highlight to see):
CO shows a pair of queens (As Qh)
Hero shows (Qc Jd)

CO wins with a pair of queens (As Qh)

I end up in a lot of these situations where I have 2nd pair and am not facing any resistance. I would expect a K or trn flush to raise so I bet the rvr because I didn't want to c/f the best hand. A lot of players seem quite passive with their made hands though so is my line too agressive? Perhaps check the trn, hope for a check behind then c/c the rvr?

Hi!

I dont mind to raise this preflop but being OOP playing smaller pot is fine as well.
Postflop its fine played. You have easy valuebets all the way. If you check you will loose the same since he will then bet but you are winning more against worse made hands(pockets, some Ahighs..AJ,AT,worse Qx and some draws)
