I'm wondering if I should always expect to be up against an ace here, and if I still have the odds to call if I am.
UTG is unknown, but has been playing a bit loose over the 15 hands I have on him.
BB is your average semi-tight aggressive player, with a 17 VPiP over 200 hands.

MP+1: $24.76
LP: $2.43
Hero (CO): $12.49
BTN: $6.92
SB: $20.05
BB: $10.00
UTG: $19.30
UTG+1: $20.00
MP: $4.77

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has J♠ 9♠

UTG calls $0.10, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.10, fold, SB calls $0.05, BB checks

Flop: ($0.40, 4 players) T♠ Q♠ J♣
SB bets $0.20, BB raises to $0.65, UTG calls $0.65, Hero calls $0.65, fold

Turn: ($2.55, 3 players) K♦
BB bets $1.91, UTG calls $1.91

Hello SirSeke,

Yeah, it should be fine, he sometimes also takes such a line with any kind of set or maybe even 2pairs and our implied odds should be correct for the Call. But likely fold it on river, if we don't hit.

Best regards.
