I lost $46 of the starting capital before I figured out 6 max sngs were not for me!!! i changed to sss and im starting to make profit!!!!

Big thanks to this forum for all the advice!! And thanks for answering all my really crappy questions!! you guys are great, i really feel now my poker career is starting!!!!

Have changed $4 into $10 and feeling more and more confident every day!!!

Don't mean to spoil your cheer but SSS really isn't something you should get into if you seriously want to learn poker. SSS is a simplified and robotic form of poker.

Agree. Also winning 3BI in the short term means nothing as variance in SSS is high as hell. I tried SSS once, dumped 12BI in a row and quit it. And guys say this is completely normal... Well, fuck SSS then :f_confused:

P.S. I mean 1BI = 100BB, not 20BB.

When i started of playing i actually played SSS and i think it's pretty good for a complete beginner with tiny roll. But obv depositing some money and starting to learn BSS is much better.

Wow, no offense but playing 6max sngs and realizing it's not for you when you lost 46$ out of 50$ ? You were blindfolded when you played ? or you played some 10$ sngs ?

Each to thier own find out what works for you then stick with it until your confident to try something else . In time you will find out what type of poker you can win at but more importantly which type you like best . Enjoy the game !!!
