Hi,
yesterday I had my first SSS Adv. coaching. I've selected 2 interesting hands I played during the coaching. I plan to do this with every coaching.
I've given my own comment to every hand but you're welcome to post your opinion.
Next coaching will be next wednesday 12/26/07.
Until then I will open up a feedback thread for my coaching, too.

I personally don’t respect minraises by unknown short or middle stacks unless I haven’t got reads about the hands they make minraises with. So even against an early raise I reraise TT. Flop play is standard. My opponent will surely show me a monster sometimes but my experience is that these minraises are made with other marginal/speculative hands more often than with monsters.
Hand 2:

keine.
1/2 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.
Preflop: Hero is SB with Q♦, Q♥
UTG+1 raises to $6.00, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls $6.00, MP2 raises to $14.00, 3 folds, Hero raises to $60.70 (All-In), 3 folds, MP2 calls $46.70.
Flop: ($135.40) 5♦, 7♣, 7♠
Turn: ($135.40) 9♦
River: ($135.40) 9♠
Final Pot: $135.40
Against MP2 I still see an edge with QQ. And since a normal reraise commits me anyway I push directly. However, there are 2 things one should think about here. First the UTG raise from a passive player. Well, I don’t have many hands, so in this situation I should give him a standard range for NL 200 like TT+/AQ+. If I’ve got more reads and he proves to be so passive I think QQ can be folded here. The other important aspect is my stack size. I would rather make the push with 20BB than with 30. With 20BB the deadmoney carries much more weight and thus I need less equity for the push.
But I’m still content with the hand as played. (MP2 showed KJs)
