When he leads here, I put him on 66-TT, KJ. Unlikely he will lead here with better ace. He would c/c A I think.

If I would raise him here, he would fold the hands I beat and call/re-raise with better, so just calling is the best option here. For sure, I would find out, if my ace is good.

By calling, I must put in mind - what will I do, if he barrels the turn also? In most cases I think I would have to give up.

Now I`m pretty sure he`s got no ace. I guess I had to bet here to get value out of smaller pairs, also to protect my hand against some gutshots. Also, most likely I would get a free showdown.

So he checks again and I bet for value.

Hello dienaszaglis,

I guess if he even barrels big on turn, I am more often inclined to fold my hand and give up. But as played I like your line, nice hand!

Best regards.

Thanks!

One more Q though:

Which is best: check the turn for pot-control, or bet the turn for possible free showdown?

Yeah, likely going for pot control and as well sometimes even bluff-induce is better. Our kicker ain't that great either, so I like it.
