Recently I've noticed an interesting play with short stack in mid/late stages from some ppl. They wait for the hand despite having 2 or even less BB left. And sometimes it pays off. Yesterday on BLT torney (Full tilt) I was sitting on the same table with such a guy. I saw him pushing with the last BB (at least 3 times while I was still in) and after checking the results, found that he finished 5th (around 3000$). Is it pure luck here or there is some sense into this play?

Hey biogas,

May have been just dumb luck but we definitely don't want our stack getting this low.

Here's an article on M Factor. Which gives you an idea on how your stack is compared to the blinds and how much danger your in.

Regards,

Kyle.
