Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant.Base 0.98 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is SB with K♣, T♣
7 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4,00 SB) K♦, T♥, 8♥ (2 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4,00 BB) 3♥ (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (6,00 BB) 9♥ (2 players)

I have a question if is it better to 3-bet on flop or is it played correctly?

Thanks for answers.

hi freescript
i would definately 3-bet the flop here. you have a strong hand but the board is very drawy so let him pay. the river is of course very ugly but i don´t to c/c because you give him the opportunity to check worse hands behind and value bet his better hands ("negative freeroll"). against (almost) unknown i think bet/fold is a good line because he could easily pay you off with worse Kx etc.

WOW - I actually have been in the similar situation tonight. I got checked behind and although steaming with a set in my hand I have won against the top pair. It newer occurred to me I should bet such a river.
