[Closed] Is transfer from other player considered a deposit?

Hello!

I intend to participate in a couple of satellites on Pokerstars for a sum of ~$30, but i don't want to waste my deposit bonus on this (I never deposited on Pokerstars, and when i do, it will be a sum close to $600). So if i ask another player to transfer the money to my account, will it be considered a deposit?

Hi ruvince,

Generally speaking a player transfer is not considered a deposit as it is a re-distribution of funds already with the poker room.
A deposit requires new money coming in from your own funds.

If in any doubt however, please check with PokerStars own support team prior to proceeding.
