Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.1/$0.2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 3:d, 4:c.
CO calls, BU calls, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 2:h, A:c, 5:c (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, CO folds, BU folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: 2 BB.

All uknown players. Floped the nuts in a multiway pot. Should I have checked here and hope someone bets, or just bet like I did?

Without a read I think betting's the way to go, after all if another club lands you might not have the nuts any more.

HU against a whale who is going to go mental with an A on the board, then I'd consider a c/r, but not against 3 other players.

there is no way to play that hand differently. you are out of position and you don't want that it gets checked through, giving your opponents a freecard and you can face each players with 1SB and make him able to call with any weak draw and a donkbet looks less strong as a checkraise does. OOP with monster always take the initiative by bet/3bet!
