Hey guys,

So I know that with KJs I can only steal and should'nt really re-steal, but a min raise from UTG1 I felt was not enough for me to fold my hand.

As for the post flop play I made my conti bet then wanted to play check on turn and see next card free, obviously hitting the FH was ideal but what about the play?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]CO$2.00:///////;BU$0.86:///////;SB (Hero)$0.93:///////;BB$4.36:///////;UTG2$0.88:///////;MP1$2.21:///////;MP2$3.00:///////;MP3$1.50:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:c, K:c.
UTG2 raises to $0.04, 5 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, BB folds, UTG2 calls $0.08.

Flop: ($0.26) 3:d, J:s, A:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.18, UTG2 calls $0.18.

Turn: ($0.62) 3:h (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG2 checks.

River: ($0.62) J:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.63, UTG2 calls $0.58.

Final Pot: $1.83.

Thanks,
AKM

Hey AKM,

KJs isn't in any of the raising charts as it's rather loose hand to play and what's more you decided to 3-bet an UTG openraiser which is a bit mistake as most players are usually very tight from early position even if they only minraise. Thus just fold this preflop and avoid trouble.

As played, postflop is well played. You have to c-bet this flop, but you could c-bet some less and v-betting rivered FH is only natural.
