I'm trying out the Equity trainer and my questions may look dumb . So Ill take a stab at answering it myself.

Villians range is taken from MP2 opening Raise

Heros range is taken from BB defense / call MP2 opening range.

Question : The BB defense range. Does this mean we are in the BB ?

My own answer : This is an equity quiz , its not about position.

How bad is it if I have the equity trainer open at the same time as a playing a table ?

Accounts will get suspended !

Hey,

1) Yes, it is about equity and the result wouldn't change if you are in SB, BB or somewhere else. However the range is based on hands which you would defend in BB. So if you are in SB you would defend with a different range and you would have a different quiz.

2) This may depend on each poker room, but ie. on PokerStars you can use the Equilab every time.
