I was at the end of a trny(4000 entrants...300 remaining...my position close to 100) and my opponent quite same position. Both big stacks and both ITM.
My hand QQ from UTG1 raised 4xBB...the opponent called from BB position.
Flop: 3 T Q (rainbow)
I raised 2/3 of the pot...and the opponent raised all-in....I called all-in.
Turn: 5
River: 4
Please guess who's winner????...He with A2o!!!!!!!!
Did I mistake paying all-in???? 
Obvious mistake! You really should of waited for a better spot instead of busting out in such a marginal situation.

because when you have the nuts and somebody go's all in you should do a phil hellmuth instant call
I would usually make the same call in a cash game, but don't know about tourneys. Looks like you got donked.
why even ask you obviously know you plyed this hand good. So I geuss you just a bit upset by being trown out of the tournament this way. But that is tournament poker so your better get used to it if you want to play this format often.
Thx for your answers. I can understand that I was wrong by paying that all-in...because I was (maybe)close to the final table...or anyway to a better position.
In an earlier stage of a tournament though I will proceed in the same way...because the opponent in that kind of flop what should have??? only AA, KK, 33, TT with a hope to come another one on turn and river...or J9/KT hoping for a straight.

You let the fish see the flop. ♦ I think this is were playn out of position pays he would fold to any bet if you don't turn your hand in to a bluff...

Even if Q T hits villain's range, you're never folding a set of queens in a flop like that.

No one is joking. Everybody knows that when you have the best possible cards on the flop and your opponent goes all-in - you MUST fold, cause it is too good to be true and you will lose on the river ;).
it's a mistake. you did not consider that the player has ESP and predicted that he would flop a straight. 
Thank you for your opinions. Anyway you might recognize that is very difficult to fold QQ ...after you saw a flop with another Q and 2 cards smaller.

never fold QQ witout at least good reads and you don't fold because of the position your in the tournament because you want to play these to win them because of the top heavy structure in most mtt finishing first will give you much more money then making making it only in the money.

He had 50% equity on the flop so it was just a flip. You'll lose bunch of those (actually, 50% of those) in your poker career. Dont worry buddy, get over it, you'll win the next one!
