hey guys i'm nick, from canada.
i'm canadian/korean and am turning 19 this september.
i just started online last month on a temporary account and am already down quite a bit.
not in school right now, working a couple of entry level jobs atm with hopes of poker becoming a bigger income. so far that hasn't worked out.
i need a coach! (mostly a tournament player)

What is the work you trying to sponsor your bankroll?
We can always recommend you coaches, however I think it might worth for you to look around in out Poker Blog section and see what/how the others deal with situations like yours. Also, have you asked our hand judges to help you look at your game?

on tilt i play tournaments, stars tournaments, 888 sngs. anything $10 and under. (i don't really follow the buy in rules)
ok there's an issue with elephant and my postgres...
localhost - elephantdb -> "connection to database NOT successful! please ensure that postgreSQL is running and your settings are correct."

seems like your thread got moved to the elephant support forums.
Please make sure your database service is up and running. You can check that via control panel -> administrative tools -> services -> postgreSQL database service has to be started. Please start it manually if this is not the case.
yup, it's started postgreSQL server 8.4.
i've had a very similar issue when installing poker tracker.
Maybe something is blocking the connection for you. What did you do to solve the issue with pokertracker? Since this problem is not related to the elephant itself, it could very much be the same issue.
