Easy call. although you are behind a made Flush, he can play that way with AhK and AhA or even AA. And against a flush you have equity to catch your boat on turn or river. the only hand you are behind off is KK. So again, well played

Board: K♥J♥8♥
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    65.55%  65.55%   0.00% { Ah5h }
MP3    34.45%  34.45%   0.00% { JdJc }

Against the nuts we make a very slight >O EV call and I don't think he is going to have KK there because I expect him to always 3bet them preflop because 3 players already entered the pot before his turn.

If we combine this with the fact that he can sometimes have A :heart:X or 88 I think you played the hand the best way possible.

I just EQ'd and was shocked that actually I think we are ahead of his range here, I thought we would be behind but priced in but actually when I EQ this range (ok granted he has a few more flushes and maybe a couple less non-flush hands but tht doesn't chance much since little combos anyway) so as played wp OP

here:
Player 1: 56.420 JsJd
Player 2: 43.580 88, AhKh, AhQh, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, Ah7h, Ah6h, Ah5h, Ah4h, Ah3h, Ah2h, KJs, QhTh, Th9h, AhQs, AhQd, AhQc, AhJs, AhJd, AhJc, KJo

I think this is a realistic range, and I think it can be even wider (more suited connector hands) so wp. In the range I included all suited Ax hearts (nut flushes) because I think he has pretty much all of them, a few high suited connectors (flushes), bottom set 88, top 2, and some big combo draws AhQx gutshot/fd to nuts + AhJx (1 combo) pair+nfd. I think this is reasonable, it might be slightly weighted wrong but I think it still yields a realistic equity.

He would bet shove his A high flushdraws so easy raise/call postflop.
Also if he opens that loose UTG I think you should mostly 3-bet with your jacks

I think you misread the flop sir, it was a cold 3bet shove by the BU vs UTG cbet and our raise.

yeah, my bad.
But at the same time I think we still can´t fold our set, since BU might also shove smt like pair+A high flushdraw, KJ, 88
