You'll probably all think "what's this fool doing posting such a trivial decision?"...but yeah - river play?

Yes, I know, raise preflop. Usually I do. I didn't feel like it this time.
So, as played, what about turn, river play? I reckon I was probably a bit weak.

On a much more general note, if you're the preflop aggressor with a low pair and hit your set, but on a really low-medium and dry board against very much unknown opponents, is it generally a good idea to bet some more straight away or wait and see if a high card hits the turn?

Otherwise, awesome, easy session - made 2.5 stacks in an hour or so.

at the second hand it is nothing bad not to raise preflop and just call oop for set value . iwould bet pot on the flop . and i will bet again on the turn near pot ... is not necesary for him to have the flush and if he has it you still get outs on the river to beat him . usualy i will block bet the river and if i get raised i will call or not acordingly to opponent

Hand 1: Don't reraise all in. Only worse hands will call. If you think he's bluffing you off your hand, just call and let him fire again on the turn and call off course.

Hand 2: Indeed, raise preflop. 77 is about the lower end of the range I'd raise this preflop with, though. As played, make a small value bet on the river, something like 9$. If you get raised big it's an easy laydown. But he probably just has a K, so you can't give him a free showdown.

Only better hands will call you mean ;)

Anyway, while that's usually good to let him keep bluffing, villain's got 6 outs in all likelyhood and an overcard can easily come, which is disturbing. I don't think it's that badly played here, he got the money in while he thought he was ahead and perhaps even pushed TT-JJ of the hand and gave him no chance to get reverse odds.
I mean, how are you gonna act if villain decides to raise again on the turn on any particular turn card > 9 ?

Sorry typo, indeed: only better hands :)

His stack size is only 60BB. So the money is going in no matter what card comes on the turn, except for maybe an A. So let him bluff and you're maximizing your expectation.

Hand 1: why do you push? I think you get only called by better hands. I'd play call flop, c/rai turn.

Hand 2: I'd bet the river for value.

if the turn comes a k q j t and you check raise you will only get called by better hands ... if you shove flop i think you can get called by worst pp or maybe overcards some times ...

Hand 1: I basically didn't want to see any overcards come out. If he doesn't fire on the turn, then he'll get to see 2 more cards with paying any extra.

I like pushing the flop. such a fish won´t fold 55-88 + every overcard on the turn ist quite bad

Ok i asked for this hand a few people:

I thought it does not metter we are ai anyway
xNattydreadx shove because oop
stani-skype shove because dont want to see an Ace
Tribun says stani is fish and natty is a stinky bayer
and is for c/rai turn
stani says Tribun is an ossi and should move down to nl 50.
Tribun says wannabe history teacher
( ???)
...
and so on ..

i think moving in is fine

hand 1. Also likes the shove, cause maybe he would fold TT, JJ. If I had a better pp, then I´d call and not sure about c/ai or bet half the pot, cause they tend to check behind with weak overpairs.
