not looking good for us Aussies. the AFP is starting to take notice. lets hope they cant do anything.

While I still think regulation is inevitable... these are dark times when our service providers are treated like criminals.

Are you serious? Online gambling is illegal in Australia and has been for many years. Hey just haven't ever tried to charge anyone over it, however seeing we are in the back pockets of the USA, especially with a prime minister who doesn't want to be part of the British empire, you can be certain they are under pressure to start charging people, and I don't doubt they will. It will happen, its probably already happening, the federalpolice won't give it away in the newspapers, but if the media is obviously sniffing something out, you can be sure there is a lot more going on than anyone is thinking at the moment

i know its illegal. What im saying is that we, along with other nations, need to regulate this game we love and not treat these companies like drug dealers.

This sucks balls. Any guesses as to what you think will happen?

Fulltilt/Stars blocked.

Anyone recommend taking money off sites? Or is it too early to freak out yet?

all i can say is glad im canadian ....

just relax laggsy. teh australian laws are a lot diff to the US, and there arent any payment processors located here. so IMHO the AFP cant do shit, its all smoke and mirrors.

but, as always, keep minimal amounts online just in case.
