I only just started playing seriously YESTERDAY. I've been having a baaaad day today. I've down to $32 from the original $50. Granted, around half of the losses are due to my own impatience, but the other half is just ridiculous.

Eg: This beauty is my last hand of the night.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.04 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

Known players:
[tg]SB$3.78:///////;BB$4.00:///////;MP1$3.36:///////;MP2$4.54:///////;MP3 (Hero)$4.45:///////;CO$4.00:///////;BU$2.89:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A:d, A:s.
MP1 raises to $0.16, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $0.28, 2 folds, SB raises to $0.80, 2 folds, Hero raises to $4.45, SB calls $2.98.

Flop: ($8.43) 4:d, 8:c, K:c (2 players)

Turn: ($8.43) J:s (2 players)

River: ($8.43) J:h (2 players)

Final Pot: $8.43.
Results follow:

SB shows four of a kind, jacks(J:c J:d).
Hero shows two pairs, aces and jacks(A:d A:s).

SB wins with four of a kind, jacks(J:c J:d).
Hero wins with two pairs, aces and jacks(A:d A:s).

I'm just having a bitch to make myself feel better. I know this shit happens, and I need to get over it; but bitching helps :3

If you got free $50, you should know about BRM (Bankroll Managment). Why do you play NL4 with $50? Play NL2...

As for the hand. Pretty standard, it will happen often, so get used to it.

Not sure but some sites start at NL4.
But if they do, then you should try SSS instead of 100 BB.

@OP; please read the articles on P.S. about Bankroll Management, they are there for your benefit and monetary safety.
The biggest mistake new players make is ignoring bank roll management... ..then they go broke and don't even know why.

Rule; Bank Roll manegement 1st; 2nd and 3rd. Learn to play 4th.
